I've been drinking it for 30 years, but last year my heating element broke so it was a bit difficult to find parts, started buying filtered water it's the worst ever. I miss my distilled water! Get your minerals from foods and supplements never from water. Any minerals found in water is from rock source and can cause build up of plaque in arteries. Your body cannot assimilate inorganic rock minerals. Those minerals are for plants, the plants assimilate the rock minerals and we eat the plants. Any minerals found in water is nutritionally insignificant, never depend on nutrition from water. Water's sole purpose is to cleanse and hydrate! Properly made Distilled water PH is perfectly Neutral. Any tools used for testing may register distilled as acid but that's a lie. What's really happening is that the pure water molecules are making contact to a inorganic metal so the water is trying to attach itself to it as a cleansing solvent because water cleanses inorganic material out of your body. Another myth is that distilled water will make you leach calcium and make your bones weak, this is not true and scientifically and biologically impossible because your minerals that your body utilizes is already chelated and in an organic form. All that info for you in a brief summary. Enjoy!

They've found microplastics in not only rain water and springs, but even in newborn babies. At this point people should be actively trying to cleanse themselves of the toxins that are a constant byproduct of our post-industrial world. That's not to mention everything else that's made its way into the tap water systems and what filtration systems fail to remove completely. Distilled water seems like a great way to do that. Distilled water is only okay to drink if you take additional mineral supplements. NOTE: Drinking exclusively distilled water without prior knowledge of what minerals your body can't live without can be dangerous for your health. There are minerals in water (for example we'll take pure and clean spring water) that are absorbed as the water gets filtered by flowing between natural stones/rock/sand and dirt. Those minerals are essential for proper human body function. In case your tap water is proven to be polluted by the high quantity of microplastics and other harmful materials (This is tested in water-treatment centers before it gets to your tap anyway) then it would be suggested to drink it distilled as it removes virtually everything but pure H2O. Honestly, a good video that shines some light on a problem not many people think about. The only thing I would suggest adding is that you need to take mineral supplements in some other way.

I just bought a mega home distiller. It’s coming this week so not sure if I’ll love it or not but got great reviews

In Germany, most people think, that you´ll die from destilled water because of the osmotc pressure, wich shall lead to exploding cells. If that would be true, then I should be dead by now.

I put a teaspoon of sea salt per gallon in my distilled water. I don't get the argument that it pulls minerals from your body.
@4DTravelr3 жыл бұрын
Exactly, that would happen from over drinking any water. Yes it would happen slightly faster over drinking distilled but it's pretty impossible to drink that much water anyway

What about spring water? Does it calcium and magnesium our bodies don't need as well?

thats how social engineering works, make you think healthy things are bad and unhealthy things are good, because money can be made from illness and disease so the more people they have trusting their narrative the more money.......

So is the water that that come out of my fridge safe since it’s filtered or does it not filter those things out???
@piratepete-thetruthisforevery14 жыл бұрын
We have a fridge like that and we stopped drinking from it many years ago. Distilled water is the only water that is 100% pure. It's all we drink now. Six years and counting...

Spidey Smokes No, filtered water is different. There are many types of filters and each can filter differently. Check what kind of filter your fridge has and what it filters. Also you need to,change filters from time to time.

Been on distilled water for months. When I go outside and someone is watering their lawn I can smell all of those nasty chemicals. It is truly nasty stuff.

Public water can leach contaminants from water pipes, like..lead, just ask Fint, MI.

Another thing to add in regards to municipal tap water is the creation of Trihalomethanes which are created when chlorine interacts with biological material. Trihalomethanes are scientifically shown to be a cancer causing agent. If you live in a city that is fed by rivers these are far more present than in cities like Vancouver that have granite reservoirs that dont contain much biological material Also what type of distiller do you use?

Other than beer, which I don't drink often, I pretty much never drink any water. The body doesn't really need any liquid, all you need is minerals and vitamins. You get them from eating real organic food. You probably only need liquid to flush out the garbage from a bad diet.

Could you please tell me what brand distiller you use and if you have to use filters?

I love the homestead approach to functional health. We live in a private well as well (lol) though we are aware of the additional layer of filtration this necessitates. Any data on what distilled water can pull out of the body? Are these calcium/magnesium deposits grabbed by the distilled h20? What about flouride, chlorine, and/or bromide halide toxins? Thank you!
@BridiesMammaG Жыл бұрын
If you take iodine it will push fluoride and chlorine out of the cells

@@BridiesMammaG I know. Just wanting to know if distilled water acts in addition to pull out these toxins. I’m in the middle of an Iodine load protocol.

I'm reading about people drinking rain water. Yes it sounds great but don't kid yourself. When that rain falls it is collecting and absorbing all the pollution in the atmosphere and your drinking that.
@aaronpreston30374 жыл бұрын
could that residue be produced and used as a soil amendment?
@walshnan4 жыл бұрын
Interesting question, would need a lab to test for mineral content (like arsenic, cadmium, lead, etc.) as well as anions like flouride, chloride (safe, it's the ion, not Cl2), nitrates, sulphate. It came from soil and rock, just like the natural unpolluted water from early times.

I just bought a countertop water distiller. Vevor brand. Should i use any tool to test the water? The TDS meter doesnt test for non mineral contaminants. I got a tool that also tests pH...will this help to test for contaminants?

Do you add in any "good " minerals into the water or just drink distilled only? My grandma was concerned that I'm not getting minerals I need ... she said the health food store has minerals to buy to add in to the water ... thoughts?
