With regard to Howard's passive, i believe it is saying that enamies cant affect speed bar with their pasive (of anyone on the field).but allies, inclusive of Howard, can.

These kits are tailored for illimunati. They have tons of barrier, assists, and bpshuri has the charge. Also, blocks their speedup on spawn and they don't depend on speedbar.

Old man Logan, illuminati. spider society, Xtreme X-Men, the Hercules team and cabal all have assist mechanics. Star jammers definitely sounds like a crucible defense team like a new infinity watch team to make the turns go by

on spawn haward will fill ur team speed bar by 30% and only enemies cant fill their speed bar or reduce your speed bar before howard takes a turn. so lets hope hes the slowest

Well Groot has 70 speed right now so unless he get's a really big upgrade I doubt Howard is the slowest.

BK w/Fortifier has been used alot to counter Kahhori who you could swap in with this team, A lot of people are doing fortifier on Gladiator too, Illuminati/Odinati is gonna get screwed with this as well

I think the intent on Howard's passive is just to ensure that he's getting that initial speed bar (30% + 5% per "Starjammer") regardless of if he's up against IXM or CB, but he's also going to be effective at countering all those "on spawn" speed bar toons, but maybe not someone like Doom (dependent on Howard's speed).

I know. I wish it was Corsair instead of Howard the duck but he was teased for the march team. It would have been better if Havok was in dark descendants instead of starjammers. Scopely maybe wants to create their version of their teams so that they don’t get sued by Marvel perhaps.

​@NathanQuintana-y7m The duck could have been in another group of pets+groot, (cosmo, Frog Thor, rocket and groot) the starjammers could be Lilandra, Corsair, Hepzibah and Havok and rework to Cyclops. I like that they create new teams, but at least give it some sense.

Immortal Xmen do barrier, and Cabal does too. I don’t think this is meant for BW; a lot of crucible guys do it right now Howard’s passer prevents enemies from gaining turn meter on spawn, but allows his team to. But it is weaker than Jean and CB’s: his prevention ends when he takes his first turn. Jean’s is all battle. So he’ll prevent spawning turn meter, but later won’t prevent Apoc or Logan from gaining it in later attacks Havok’s ult says it has adverse effect for all enemies with Barrier, yet then only does damage to primary. Is that a mistake? Damage seems low for a 1-character ult as well, relative to the rest of the team

Geez, Groot looks awesome. But unless they boost his speed he is really really really slow. Havok could have sucked and I'd still have cored for him (I mean I gotta fanboy for some things right) so I'm pretty happy that he looks good. But yes this team is designed to murder Illuminati defenses.
