"Is this a game" is what I was saying about MSF from the start. There have been moments where it does become a game, mostly the Scourges/Trials, but generally it's just resource management and engagement chores. Doing blitz 80 times without sim, doing blitz with sim, clicking the claim button 73 times a day, going to the webstore. None of that is gameplay but it takes up so much time. But wait there's PvP combat and raids. Raids aren't fun unless Scopely makes them fun, but normally they want to make them drain resources and require resets or heals. It could be both difficult and fun but rarely because it's not a priority over at Scopely. PvP is actually PvE against predetermined teams that are made not to be balanced but to be sold to replace one another. One upon a time speed reduction was insanely broken, then Safeguard, then Trauma, then battlefield effects, etc. It's a revolving door of inventing ways to make everything not-new outdated. It's only balanced in the case that Scopely runs sims and finds the win% on auto to be acceptable, or they respond with a quick patch when their lack of effort fails to succeed. There are good games out there to play, MSF will never be a good game. It's a resource management simulator where you can "collect" and never use your favorite Marvel characters, and it's entire goal is to manipulate you into addictive habits, to dig itself into your life, and then pump FOMO into your veins.

The other point that I haven't heard from anybody after last weekend when they said that "leaderboard integrity was not compromised since none of the top ten alliances were affected", but what about the other 99.99999% of us on alliances that were not in the top ten, so my alliance being bumped down two spots doesn't mean anything because I am not in a top ten?????

I think the issue is that the PERCEPTION is that some people may feel compelled to buy it every reset which will bankrupt you. Like, I was buying turkeys each store reset, but no way in fuck am I doing that for snow globes. But, I think some people will and not really think about it.

I’m disappointed that yet another game mode was put out bugged…even after they worked on it for so long to ensure it worked well. Thats the biggest issue for me. Incompetence is killing this game and player excitement. A whole year working on this and the bug shows in less than a month. Most other games put knull-like bosses and content out monthly with little problems.

Mobile gamer was doing his Knull attack and towards the end of the attack he was gonna rest to try to get a better run and that bug triggered and he looked like he trying to figure out what had happened and then you could see the damage change and he decided to keep it. 1.2 billion damage. He then said it was borked.

I could easily see people not knowing they dud the glitch. For example Mobile boomer did it and he didn't realize in his video. He mentioned resetting while it before it happened and while it was happening because it wasn't going well, he almost pressed the cog to do it when he finally noticed the damage

I’m only buying the uniques from the stores. Uniques were a major bottle neck for gt18 for me and these are a good deal. This assumes the uniques are used in the next tiers

Yep I would stockpile certain uniques especially things like Osmium or other heavily used ones, because if new characters come out, or even upgrading existing 19>20 it will stack up.

When you talk about everyone getting 3D Emma not being a big deal b/c we won't have 7ys, as f2p I have to disagree. Yes we won't have 7ys Emma soon, but we will have 7ys while she's still meta, so having 3D when that time comes is pretty cool. I pulled a 3D Gorr from a diamond orb just after his release. My guildmates said it was unfortunate, but I was hyped, and pretty soon I'll have my Glad and Gorr at 3D (and my TEG will be 2D). So yeah it's not an immediate benefit, but it's nice down the road. (As I continued to watch the video, it became evident that you probably have a lot more diamond credits than I do - I've only bought one 3D so far.) Definitely appreciate your take on the store.

2 things : I never said JUST the level cap, I said this in conjunction with the mountain of reworks coming in a few weeks. Also, 1 level on your top 50 characters is alot of gold. If you play any modicum of Cosmic Crucible you're looking at 30 defense + at least 30 offense characters. Every level will provide a ton of stats.

I need nothing) Blitz has been a none event for years Raids my alliance has been 100% both raids since nightstalkers DD I have cleared everything BW is just a farm weekly for 10 shards, that's the only thing I'm chasing, nothing else

So many players hoarding gold like dragons it's not surprise that'll occasionally have a gold whale event to stimulate spending. There's stuff for everyone at any spending level or F2P, no point stressing out about it. Enjoy the game you play, don't let the game take your enjoyment. It's ok to step away from a game for a couple weeks, months, or more to recenter. I took a couple years off and recently came back

I am putting my gold towards the reworks now. Better than that event store - I was already limiting myself to one 3M purchase per day as good benchmark, and even that felt expensive. What’s your “sweet spot” for reworks? I am not touching T4s, and bringing to level 95, blue iso 5, and g18 for now.

when you think about it. This store, but also the web milestone will be going on every single week. If you spend 3m gold a day on it that's like 3 x 28 = 84m gold on snowglobes in 4 weeks. That's almost 3 fully maxed characters from the reworks! I will probably take them to 95 G18 tbh at least the raid team Uncanny Avengers and wait and see. We might need them maxed out though on a NEW raid.

The rank 1 rewards were pretty ass lol. The purple iso orbs were nice but it felt very lacking for a Rank 1 reward. Gold + XP would have been awesome. Or even Turkeys so we could buy what we want. I like the idea of these event stores but the value is all over place

I have Odin so it's not a big deal for me to hoard at this stage for something in the future. Any red gear you can get in huge quantities in these event stores. I seriously think buying Astral force is a big trap too, It is insane for 5 star 1 red star unlockers, it costs 210 m to get 5 red stars on your shadow king which will be LITERALLY FREE, next time we get shadow king run back.. I hate battleworld. It's not particularly interesting and it's frustrating for what it is. A small alliance can't do much with it and the freaking random requirements for Spec Ops means that most up and coming to late mid game players are likely not going to complete even one node, much less the whole thing. The rewards are great for helping me finish my Annihilator team...sometime in 2026.
