I bought a house and I've started a family. Along the way I've seen the good, the bad, the ugly... And have had many people touch my life in ways they'll never know how much it meant. Many of these people are victims of circumstance one way or another, and due to the nature of mobility while homeless I've lost contact with many of them, some probably fine, some probably dead, some I know are dead. None of them deserved what they went through. The dead have paid their debts, it's up to the living to pick up the tab. Sulu's words came from george, and I appreciate every one of them.

That DEFINITELY felt like George talking to us, and not Sulu. And GODDAMN did that pluck them heartstrings. Side tangent a few months ago George was actually here in the city that I live in for a convention and I got to meet up with him again as I had met him around the time that the 09 film was coming out in Calgary. I got to chat with him briefly and when I got my photo taken with him I had brought in this kind of discount Lego version of the Enterprise and George actually started to fly it around after we got the picture taken. Which is both absolutely adorable as well as extremely heartwarming. But I bring it up because there was actually some lower decks love during that convention in the form of two people who walked by wearing chu chu shirts. So to get a reference to the chu chu song as well as George it I got a little emotional and I have a feeling that those two people in the chu chu shirts are definitely thinking about that con today

The sad thing is that death, no matter what form it takes, is inevitable and what we've done during our lives will eventually disappear. We don't care what our parents consider important during their lives and our children certainly don't care about what we consider important. We all have lives to live, and life will move on one way or another.
