Thank you for playing and sharing - wow that was an intense and close game! Subscribing should just work though you might have to restart your game to make the map appear. This is loosely based on Direct Strike though I have never played it or any of the other variants. I have applied a few creative differences which makes it a little different mechanically how it plays out which I feel keeps things fresh though I appreciate it may annoy some.

Hi! I'm loving the gamemode, it's so fun! 🤗🤗 That said, My PC hasn't been able to keep up in the late, there's just too many units and I get disconnected/too few FPS, maybe You could consider having a pop limit for units on the field? I'm sure I'm not the only one in that situation! It doesn't feel good for My teammates to lose instantly because I got disconnected! The games also seem to all take 45-70 minutes, I wonder if 25-35 minutes might feel better! It's a huge time commitment right now 🤔🤔 Thank You for making this game mode, You rock!! 🤗🤗

​​@@Mathilde_Moksha_333 I added a pop limit with a soft cap and people hated it so had to remove it again. Without significantly changing things mechanically it is hard to change the runtime and I spent a lot of time getting to the state it is at. I might at some point look at supporting an alternative ruleset and a smaller arena as an option but I cannot say if or when it would happen. If time is strictly an issue you couple play in fast mode though it would take more processing.

I think in SC2 it's called Desert Strike these days? Fun fact, in September 2024 the amount of people playing Direct Strike in WC3 was more than the amount of people playing 1vs1 ladder - right after Grubby made his first video on the mode. I wish there was a way to see if the same will happen in AoM after Boit has a made video on the mode.

​​@@edmis90 it's direct strike. 1/3 of the sc2 custom games lobbies are polluted with this crap and i'm tired of it. Play something else for goodness' sake. Nottud and yeebagoon are making so many wonderful maps for you in aom and people are going to just spam this ad infinium.

Nottud is back?? We're so fuckin back 🥲 AOM custom maps were the absolute most fun time. I want to say, 2006, 2007 was around the time I played these maps. God is Watching, Sims, and of course...Norse Wars. This one looks familiar. Can't put my finger on why.

don't need no titan when you have bella :P that thing survives the underworld godpower spam and deal way more single target dps per gold than titan! what titan has though is CC immunity, CC and AoE damage, bella can get stun locked by things like nemean lion spam

Go to the ingame mod manager. Search for mythic strike. Subscribe to the mod and restart the game. It should then hopefully show up in your random map list.

Problem is , its not balanced enough. Played this game crazy amount of time. But hades, toxos + cyclopse with teammate going for rock giants, is almost always a win.

When you subscribe to the mod it should show up in your random maps. You might have to restart the game to have it show up.
