I don't know if the issue here is whether there is a deep down or not, so much as the problem lays in how you use it. If you never act on your good intentions, then does it matter whether you ever had them to begin with or not? To quote many men throughout history "The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and the ones you love litter the roadside"

I'm still not sure about the whole "deep down" thing; Diane has a point, at the end of the day, your actions are the only thing that matters and good intentions don't make the Situation any better. On the other hand, the reason why someone did something does tell a lot about a person, not just the action itself.

Degrees of murder is like how someone was murdered, in defense or straight up murder or assisted suicide, etc etc. So it's very based on actions. But intentions says a lot about actions, like we see with Bojack time and time again when he does fuck up. It's the only reason we as the audience can sympathize with Bojack- if you think about it, since we see his intentions before and during what he does and his mindset and his entire lifes situation, we wouldnt like him at all, much like a multitude of people in the show. Intentions are important, if you get the chance to hear them.

Oh! I personaly really like you guys, and i love Bojack. Also, i find kind of comfy the ambience of, just a bunch of friends reacting, the food and drinks in the table gives a nice feeling. "deep down" is a load of shit i think. everybody has the potential of being good, and same thing for being bad. saying "deep down" is just a cover for someones bad actions. look at hitler, or bojack, or any person that has caused wrong in both history or fiction. you could say that on the surface their actions led to chaos and destruction, but deep down they have the chance of doing good...maybe, but they already did wrong and that's what makes them irredeemable. it just depends on actions and cause and effect, regardless of one's intentions.

Definitely an argument to be made there, but I still think Season 4 was the best season. It was maybe the greatest season of television ever. The rest are merely in the top 10 of greatest seasons for any showever. ;) (Season 1 might be top 20.)
