Not sure Diane is a misery porn addict. She only got over her issue and accepted to be happy at the end while pb is just a happy go lucky guy they just were never compatible Dianne tried to pretend he had an issue but she is just too much to handle for most peoples she was just lucky the Buffalo was a saint. The pug girl they were compatible but he cheated and destroyed the couple.

But the thing is, that situation happened because he wasn’t listening to her. She was suggesting to be the couple from The Book or whatever it was but Mr. Peanutbutter only heard “The Book.” His inability to listen caused him to wear a costume in which he isn’t able to get to her in time. While he did try, and should be given credit for it, you also have to take some away due to the fact it only happened because he wasn’t listening to her

One of my friends (who has bad taste in men) watched this series and initially hated Diane for not just rolling with PB's shenanigans but by the end she really understood. I think this series does an incredible job in painting a highly relatable characters and then pointing out their flaws with so much precision that it's a wake up call for the viewer.
