I love this series so much! First, the overall story is very interesting, and even though each song is (basically) telling the same story, they sound different, while at the same time are keeping the same creepy feel. Then, the illustrations are beautiful (although the entire video itself is beautiful, too) and even though there are many Vocaloids singing, they don't sound robotic at all, and they voices sound great together. Amazingly well done!

Agreed i love the art. And my theory. The viewer is the play master. Everytime you start the song you start the play over. And you rewatch wanting to know then ending, causing them to restart and restart. And because we like the song we deprive them of their happy ending.

He's right here :D so basically the story is a giant play that's never ending because there is a missing page in the script, and each song keeps looping the same story, hence the infinite symbols, and depending on which one you listen to, the ending and POV changes, so with, so you start with bad end night and that one is on Miku's POV (aka village girl) and that story goes as follows: Village girl is lost in the woods and randomly stumbles upon a mansion where all the people living in there bring her in and decide to celebrate, but just a little before midnight occurs, time stops completely causing the villager to go mad and she goes crazy. Now we go into crazy night (makes more sense, right :D) and the POV are the other vocaloids (AKA Mansion inhabitants) and the story goes as followed: The mansion inhabitants welcome a lost village girl into their mansion and they decide it would be best if they let her stay the night as it was dark outside, they decide to throw a party to celebrate their new guest, but soon things start to go wrong and they suspect it's the village girl because she is now missing and time (the play) has stopped just before midnight and in order for time (the play) to continue they need to find the missing page. Now we move onto twilight night, this time it's told from the audience POV and THIS one goes as followed: (insert same beginning i've told the last two times cuz I don't wanna retype this) This time the villager slips out of bed and finds the secret coffin room and the inhabitants of the mansion start accusing each other of stealing the missing page of the story, but then they find the letter that the villager had, open it and... that's where it ends (this ending pissed me tf off let me tell you) and finally ever lasting night and this time the POV is a complete 3rd person and it goes like this: The mansion inhabitants are bored out of their mind and are imagining about monsters coming to their house, next and uninvited guest stumbles into their home and asks to stay a single night, everyone decides to entertain her until the storm passes, while the village girl was dancing she accidentally breaks the clock's glass and remembers nothing else, later she awakes and realizes that they are all trapped in the same roles forever, for the rest of their lives, and in order to save them, she has to off herself with one of the clock's hands

Instead of alternate endings, how about you need to do bad endings in order to proceed. Like, after you achieve the first bad ending "Bad End Night", you restart over trying to change the course of the game to avoid the first bad ending. You then achieve the second bad ending, "Crazy Night" where you instead kill everyone. Then you restart again, achieving the "Twilight Night" After that, you'll get the gist of the story and try to slow the story down so you could understood it better. This may go on for a few times, until you achieve the true ending "Everlasting Night" It'll be difficult probably to program a game like that, but it's a good concept to explore
