This is my take on the movie. They start by showing us these powers and abilities in the perspective of a person who believes in these magic powers at the start of the movie. Showing us how cool it looks in their perspective at the start but also showing us throughout the movie how "weird" it looks from the outside looking in. But by the end the main character expresses to the girl that living in this fantasy will lead her in a dead end. So he convinces her to come to his side and live a normal life along with him, and in turn show her that this real world isnt so bad despite all the bullying they endured. This movie taught us that an escape from reality can be comforting, but dont get too emursed in it or else you'll find yourself alone and depressed as a result from being disconnected from reality, or in other words a "dead end". This may or may not be what the creator intended this movie to represent and teach us, but this was my interpretation on what I learned from the movie. Overall I really enjoyed the movie and is one of my favorites

This anime is really good. Looking at this remind me of Air and Clannad. I though it had supernatural elements at first but then i understand what the creators wanted to show. Lovely anime movie. I do recommend to watch it
