Breathtaking ! Terrific drive and opulence. If you have to have the Bolero on a piano, this is probably as good as it can get. There doesn't seem to be much more one can do with two hands. A truly great achievement by a too little known virtuoso.

Oldenburg (1955) started playing the piano at 5. He studied at the Royal Conservatory at The Hague with Theo Bruins,and continued his studies at Juilliard School of Music in New York with Beveridge Webster and in Brussels with Eduardo del Pueyo. In 1980 he received the 'Prix d'Excellence'. He performs as a soloist, chamber musician and as an accompanist. He gave concerts and made Radio- and TV- broadcastings in different countries over the world and have many CD recordings.Congratulations.

Mr. Oldenberg, I have your recording of Czerny and Liszt and I think it's superb. I love Czerny's op. 740 (unfortunately neglected) and am glad to hear such great playing of it. Great job on this Bolero also! Greetings from Florida!

Bravo , Mr. Oldenburg! May be only the other pianist who made the as rare and hard(and Brilliant) transcription as Your`s Bolero can understand You in Your unwishies to publish it. I think that Transcriptions of Rachmaninov , Earl Wild , Horowitz and Volodos had`nt lost their sharm and magnetism after they were published. Your Bolero is perfect not only like TEXT. You play it brilliantly. So , I don`t see the reasons to hold this peace only in Your hands. Thank You.
