This is full of hard truth. Tinubu is a man favoured by God and with special character and destiny. I can imagine the hurdles that were placed on his way at different times. Those that are supposed to make the journey easier for him with what they benefitted from him were instead adding to his battles. Those that should be his soldiers went to align with his enemies. This victory is a salute to courage and tenacity. With all that was done to him during this journey, not many would have the courage to continue. God gave him the heart of a lion. If he was a war general he would be in the class of the Alexander the great. I think he had a revelation that he is a man of destiny. Truly this has shown how terrible human beings can be. "Aye nreti eleya tinubu, won ti gbagbe Olorun" People like Aregbeshola, Femi ojudu, osinbajo were waiting for him to lose the election so they can mock him. God put them to shame. Honestly I totally agree with your comment. Simply put, Tinubu is brilliant, brave, confident and tenacious. Despite obstacles placed on his way by friends, foes and some Yoruba personalities, he still got his victory at the polls. Some even said if he wins, they will relocate to foreign countries. Some myopic people abuse, insult and even curse those who support tinubu bcos of the bad image of the party forgetting that in Nigeria the image of parties are what the leaders create for it. I ask Obidients if they would vote for Obi if he contested under PDP and they said yes. The question is why then do they blame people for voting APC bcos of tinubu? Is it no the same logic? People didnt support APC bcos of the party's performance but bcos they believe with tinubu as APC leader, the party would have a different image. Tinubu should let us see what we wanted APC to look like. Now that he is leader, all those ideals he has propagated should be driven to implementation now. It is no time to give excuses on why restructuring and true federalism is not possible. At least he should not be the obstacle to those ideas he had propagated now that he is in a position to drive them.
