BOLD Abstract Architectural Optical Illusion Cake | NEW EDIBLE GLITTER DRIP | Modern Cake Design

In this cake decorating tutorial I show you how to make this bold abstract architectural cake. This is the easiest way to do an optical illlusion cake that I have come across. For this one one you do not need a complicated internal support structure. I may do that at some point also:) I also show you how to make this really pretty edible glitter drip.

Glitter drip=
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 Tbs tylose powder
edible glitter to personal taste
food coloring to match glitter
Add tylose to the water. Stir to remove as many clumps as possible. Sometimes putting it in the microwave for 30-60 seconds can help. Put mixture through a sieve to remove remaining clumps. Let the mixture sit for a while to thicken up enough for a good drip consistency. Place in a piping bag with a small hole cut in tip and pipe like a chocolate drip.

Very carefully;) I would try to place some balled up saran wrap under the top level. I would maybe even use an internal structure stronger then the Dowels.
