Ridge says he will not forgive Taylor, and insists that he is in love with Brooke. Ridge tells Taylor that their marriage is over. Stephanie asks Hector to stay away from Taylor and tries to blame everything on him. Hector refuses to believe this and will not comply with Stephanie’s requests. Nick desperately pleads with Brooke not to get back together with Ridge. She tells Nick that she still loves him, but that they should definitely not act on those feelings. Brooke then realizes that Ridge might be ending his marriage with Taylor in order to pursue a relationship with her.

The symbolism of Ridge asking Taylor to meet him at Big Bear. The cabin represents significant milestones for his relationship with Brooke. Their first ski trip, his proposal, their week together planning their future when they believed Brooke was getting divorced, and where he delivered Bridget, just to name a few. As well as Hope's birth with Stephanie. Ironically, it is also where Taylor sealed her fate by being with James. So, quite interesting that he would take her to Big Bear to end their marriage. Almost as though he is paying homage to his relationship with Brooke by FINALLY telling Taylor it has always been Brooke and ending it there. He took her back to the scene of her crime and basically put the nail in her coffin.

I fully agree, Ridge has said on several occasions, him and Brooke are similar.They just happen to come from different backgrounds...even when it comes to negative traits, they are similar.They are both overly confident...bordering on arrogance, they tend to want to control the set up for other people in their lives, impulsive, very highly self-driven etc.

Hunter struggles with a lot, its not hard to see why the producers chose Katherine to be the main lady.KKL is more poised, stylish, well built and toned , more emotive (passionate) and she has way more Chemistry with Ronn.They are a hit around the world as a couple, especially in Europe, Italy and France.

It was also Taylor's idea to go to therapy in the first place and it backfired on her. She was hoping it would sway Ridge back to her. She even said she would accept what the therapist had to say but obviously she isn't. If Stephanie wouldn't have faked that heart attack, he would never have left Brooke.
