I'm glad that Ridge took a stand against Steffy's systematic manipulations. He did the right thing firing her. She needed to change her attitude for the better if she wished to have any kind of relationship with her father anymore. Ridge loves his daughter but her horrible actions over time had caused him to lose his trust in her. He fired her because he doesn't trust her anymore. And he shouldn't.
