Steffy never died. Ridge's ex-girlfriend Morgan kidnapped Steffy with Brooke Logan help because of Ridge's love for Taylor and their family and then Brooke Logan trying to look innocence cause she wants Ridge.

Brooke had nothing to do with it. Steffy was kidnapped by Morgane and the reason they all think Steffy is dead is because they were on a boat when she disappeared. So they thought she had fallen into the water during the night
