I really didn’t like Steffy back then. She was like a mini Brooke. She is better but she put herself in this predicament. Brooke did not help matters. It was Brooke’s actions that made Hope the way she is. Liam should have shut down Steffy from the beginning. He is a weak man and how he was able to get someone like Hope or Steffy is beyond me. In real life he wouldn’t have a chance. How Brooke can act like that about her husband’s daughter is shameful but Ridge should have put both Brooke and Taylor in his place. That's exactly why Ridge demanded that Hope respect Liam and Steffy's marriage. Respect the fact that he chose Steffy and not you. He saw the road this whole situation was going down. He was seeing him, Taylor and Brooke all over again except its with his children. He knew the damage he caused both Brooke and Taylor by going back and forth between them for so many years and he didn't want that to happen again that's why he told Hope to let this go and to move on. Ridge was right though. You have break the cycle somewhere and look it has continued to do this. The back and forth is still going on. No one has made an attempt to move on and now children are in the picture. I'm sure in the future the same thing will happen to Kelly and Beth.
