Liam ripped up the annulment papers cause he realized that his feelings for Steffy was real. That no matter how the marriage happened, how he feels about Steffy wasnt a trick or manipulation. It was real and he wasnt gonna pretend that the marriage never existed. He also ripped up the papers cause Liam noticed how much Steffy had changed and grown-up and he didn't wanna completely turn his back on the new Steffy

This episode did show that Steffy and Liam have much more in common than Hope and Liam. They both like Bob Hope and When Liam mentioned that to Hope she didnt even know who that was.

The next episode should have been Liam going back to LA, ending his relationship with Hope once for all and continuing his marriage to Steffy. But Liam stayed with Hope out of guilt and obligation, which did nothing but hurt Hope more in the end. Liam just couldnt face the fact that his feelings had changed, that he fell in love with another woman

Steffy has let go of Liam so many times to let him go be with Hope. Her love for him is not selfish. The only time Hope even attempted this was when Steffy was pregnant the first time (the second time she didn't even care) and even then she wanted to stop the wedding. How Liam can't see that the one who truly loves him is Steffy, is beyond me!

Hope actually didn't care the 1st time Steffu either. She kept lying to Liam about Steffy and saying she could help raise steffy's baby with Liam. Hope only suggested Liam marry Steffy because Hope was trying to make a victim out of herself like she always does and she can try to turn herself in a martyr hit on gje day of the wedding, she wanted to go the Forrester mansion to stop the wedding. And the day after Steffy lost Aspen, Hope was pushing Liam to leave Steffy.

That scene was meaningful; i think that when he married Steffy the first time, Liam had a strong attraction for her and some feelings but not real love. The moment he truly fell in love with her was when they were seperated cause Steffy evolved. She learned from her mistakes at Cabo, her sheming and lies and tried to become a good/mature person and she succeded. Liam fell in love with her from that moment but he stayed with Hope by obligation, cause she was his first love. I believe that from there, he loved them both but maybe Steffy a bit more.

I love how Brooke manages to make excuses for everything her kids do that end up hurting Forresters, but never has any forgiveness when anyone else makes a mistake.

Because of this Brooke has kept Hope in a constant childlike state. Hope is the exact same person she was when she first appeared on the show. That is because Brooke tell's her that she can have anything she wants and when she doesn't get what she wants, she throws a tantrum and Brooke comes in and starts blaming everyone else for what went wrong. This gives Hope a free pass to blame everyone else and it never gives her the opportunity to question what actually went wrong and to learn from her own mistakes. That is the fastest way to grow and mature. The sad part of this is that Hope keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over again. Even up to the current storyline with her wanting Douglas and willing to do ANYTHING to get him. She is not related to him in any way and yet she has been tought that if she wants something it's hers for the taking, and who cares about the consequences!

He gave her the gift of their marriage. Those papers would have taken it away as if it never happened. He cared about her enough to let her keep it. Too bad, in doing this, he became a hypocrite. The Logans complain about the Forresters and the Forresters complain about the Logans.

@@feuerwehrluetzen I disagree. I'm going to start with fact (then give my opinion,) Bell created Liam and Steffy to be endgame ("Liam and Steffy are the Ridge of Brooke for the next generation.") His quote. As for me, Scott and Jackie had and still have the best chemistry on the show (and really are the only ones who do.) And... I'm not sure why people give Finn a pass (cuz he's so dopey?) He got Steffy hooked on pain meds, got her shot, let her daughter drown and is now letting her fight his battles with mommy for him. Yeah, that one's a real catch lol. But Finn's biggest problem is the man who plays him... just a horrible actor. The worst I've seen in a leading role on any soap, ever. And I've watched soaps since the day I was brought home from the hospital after my birth (and, I've worked within the soap industry too.) So, that's saying a lot. If they want to keep that character on the canvas, they need to recast him. I'm sure Tanner's a nice dude but an actor he is not.

Steffy got the medication herself and the mistake on the beach with Kelly could have happened to someone else - it shouldn't have happened, but everyone is human. I also think what Liam did to Steffy is much worse. How many times did he change his mind and switch back to Hope, leaving Steffy alone. The worst thing happened in that locker room when Steffy had just given birth to Kelly. I could never forgive him for THAT. Yes, I loved the two of them together, what they experienced together, it harmonized and you could tell they were and are best friends. I've also said from the beginning that Finn isn't a good match for Steffy, but so far, other than his "relationship" with his birth mother, he's never disappointed her. And I'm tired of Liam ditching Steffy again at some point. You saw it this year, first he asks Steffy on his knees to come back to him and that she is the love of his life - a day later he is standing there with Hope and wants to try again with her. Sad what they did with his role.
