Every scene with Scott and Jacqueline, when its just them one on one is fire. They have insane on screen chemistry to the point everything they do feels so real and organic. They still do today in 2023. I will always enjoy watching these 2 work together no matter whats going on with their characters

The chemistry between JMW and SC is undeniable… it’s a shame the writers always made Hope Liam’s first choice because they just didn’t have it… and Kim Matula was fabulous as Hope who had much more chemistry with Wyatt.

I pity Hope. I really do. She shouldn't have gotten into a serious relationship this early in her life to begin with. What was she here? 19 or 20? She was barley out of high school. She should have enjoyed being young and spent these years finding out who she is and what truly makes her happy then worry about a man. Instead, she put so much pressure on herself to be the opposite of her mother and living like that really screwed her up. Thats why still in today's storyline, shes still trying to figure out who she is

The dynamic starting all over again. Hope and Liam have problems, Liam confides in Steffy, Steffy exploits their problems for her benefit, Liam and Steffy grow closer yet he goes back to Hope. Rinse and repeat

Hope only ever addressed Liam's protectorate. Steffy was independent and strong. In the long run, this is too difficult for a Liam because he is too weak himself. But the more interesting woman is definitely Steffy.

Nellie Cooper yeah, she won’t admit it, but Hopes issues were really all about having Brooke as a mom. She watched her mom be a part of so many scandals, and her birth was just an example. Then on top of that, her mom had sex with her first boyfriend Oliver, which is why those two broke up. Hope didn’t want to be anything like her mother. Her mother is also too involved in Hopes love life; and gives her the wrong advice.

Because Mummy doesn't let her grow up, because she doesn't allow her to make her own decisions. Brooke, as a mother, does not support her daughter in making her own decisions, but instead keeps telling her what to do. Hope couldn't grow up that way. That's why Hope lives in a fairy tale world that her mother created for her, but that has nothing to do with reality.

Kim Matula played this so well... she is the only one to portray this character, Annika Noelle has never been convincing in the part, not even during the loss off Beth... sorry but she just doesn’t get the character at all.

Agreed, I miss Kim Matula’s hope. Not this frigid insecure Hope but when she was becoming more confident and assured and sophisticated and feisty like in the Hope/Wyatt/Liam days. Even her wardrobe was better...But either way Kim nailed the characters youth, niativity, depth whether immature to immature. Steffy was a bit of a stalker chasing after Liam I like her better now not leaning on a man. I don’t blame Kim for leaving almost 10 years of same old Liam/Hope/Steffy storyline. Ugh 😑

This reminds me of her Grandma Stephanie who wore her wedding ring no matter what through it all until Jack who she believed she may have had a future with. I watched the scene )from about 1992 I think) recently again where she had Eric take the wedding ring she had worn for 30 years off her finger, an unmarriage scene. Dont know if anyone else has seen it but it was such a moving scene. Watch it if you have a chance. Always makes me cry 😢

Which is why I dont get what fans see in "Lope". I dont care if it was Kim or Annkika portraying Hope, the majority of Hope and Liam's relationship has always been stress, anxiety, frustration and betrayals. When they get with ANYBODY else, they are always so much more relaxed and happy. Hope and Liam is one of the most forced ships in TV history and I'm so glad it's finally over.
