Me I watched from day one..B&B had way better scripts back when..Bell Sr. and his wife were pretty genius. The filming outside in Beverly Hills..was a big treat lol. Later they would show Brooke in her VW driving up that long drive way of the Forrester Mansion. The chemistry between Ronn Moss as Ridge and Katherine Kelly Lange jumped off the page and boy did they run with it..The whole Caroline character used to bug me back when and re watching she still does lol. They made Caroline character became so bitter and jealous ...after that lame letter ..even though it was read before her wedding to Thorne..she had already made her decision and going to the dinning room would not have changed anything..lol since all the mushy stuff was said between both Ridge and Caroline in person right before that Ceremony to Thorne. Compared to now the scripts pretty much suck..and I do not watch very much anymore. BellJr. took over from his dad and changed it all.

Thorne was wrong to swoop in on Caroline when she was vulnerable. He orchestrated the entire situation between he, Caroline, Brooke, and Ridge. But she could have ended it before she married Thorne and she chose to go forward with it. It surprises me that Stephanie doesn’t carry a grudge against Caroline for getting involved with both brothers, considering how much she already hates Brooke for meddling in their lives!

They even scripted the part about Thorne character working in the basement , while Ridge the golden child, works upstairs at Forrester lol.They had Ridge constantly getting his brother's goat so to speak by him constantly Flirting with Caroline in the scripts , which I found was very funny and Caroline with that horrible crooked grin ..they even had that B&B sexy music playing every time they had their scenes..which I found funny as well and I would always laugh!

The writers / directors are showing you over and over again that CRIDGE are still in love…which you call “ flirting”; he comes to her office bcos he loves her and loves being with her! This is what Lying duo Brooke/ Thorne were afraid of when they kept CRIDGE apart by not updating Caroline of how much Ridge is still in love with her ( Brooke/Thorne knew that damn well otherwise why would they even think of doing such an egregious thing: simply cos they knew what the outcome would be; being sequestered in Brooke house with 3 people (bill/brooke/Thorne) with agenda to keep CRIDGE apart & yes they were successful with their conniving ways ; so this my friend is the comeuppance to the lying duo for thwarting the true love of CRIDGE! You cannot keep 2 people in love apart, which brooke fans cannot stand (as if Ridge found out right now, the story would end but it is soaps so the CRIDGE love “flirt” chemistry/ electricity romance goes on! ) Ridge has declared his love for Caroline over and over again in letter/ his words/ his sacrifice in staying away as she healed/ his pain even as he slept around with women every night/ ROCCO saw this WHY CANT you see what writers painstakingly are showing to us viewers!!!The self serving lying backstabber Brroke is getting her comeuppance for lying/ manipulative ways and all brooke fans are concerned is “why is Caroline flirting with Ridge?” “ why did Caroline marry Thorne? On the day of the wedding?” Either then you lack the objectivity or discernment or psychological savvy to understand the premise of the show or just willfully / intentionally seeing what you want to see cos you identify with the character flaws & deception of Brooke/ Thorne. We are definitely not watching the same show or there is willful lack of objectivity! Very sad indeed

For practical reasons, it cut down on the number of sets needed and locations to keep track of. In story, the Logans' are working class and only just barely getting their careers on track. For the Forresters, they live on a huge estate with tons of space and this was fairly normal until recently for multiple families to live together in huge rich houses. Edit to add: if you think they're up in everyone's business in these episodes, I sure hope you're not following the "plot" in 2022 because not only is it even worse but it goes at a snail's pace

Yes Caroline why should you forgive your friend who admitted to her wrong doings when she really didn't have too.. who admitted to her insecurities.. and let this one error overshadow all the hospitality and support Brooke offered when you needed it the most. Bet this is y Brooke's sense of conscience went out the window after this.. she expected some sympathy and received none. And yes Brooke did try to ingratiate herself into your life by visiting you in the hospital. But you didn't hv to take her number in the Forrestor's party or initiated a meet up after that. But wait.. you needed a friend back then when you tried to leave your father's nest so Brooke's friendship was convenient back then. Didn't need it as much when u got your Forresters back thru marriage with Thorne or becos of the new developments with your single and available BIL If you are so willing to take advise from others on your life, u should hv taken Margo's advise after the trial Not To Be Rushed Into Anything. But of course this advise will not fit into your scheme of things huh.

But Brooke was trying to make amends.. at least Caroline should consider that but she had alrdy decided that Brooke dating ridge is alrdy an enemy even b4 the admission of the letter fiasco.. I understand Caroline anger at the start but to use it against Brooke much later on is very cruel.. The tension started right when Caroline came back from the honeymoon and met Brooke in the Forrester mansion and Brooke telling her she went on a date with Ridge.. she already made up her mind here.. the admission was just a push that Caroline was looking for to unleash her tantrums that ridge could move on and not dwell in misery
