Are you serious??? Eric and Beth were engaged to get married and Eric didn't even know Stephanie and woke up in bed at a frat party with her in his bed and then later said the baby Ridge was his and it belonged to another man. She broke up Beth's engagement over another man's baby and hadn't even known Eric that long. He only married her because her daddy was rich and would help him to get the Forrester company up and running.

@vishsagi2011 Eric didn't go for Stephanie in college though. He was dating Beth. He met Stephanie at a boat party where everybody was drunk and he had a one night stand with her, because that's the kind of "classy" girl Stephanie was before lol, then time later she went to Eric to tell him she was pregnant. Well... didn't take much for Clark to get her all over him, if it wasn't for Kristen who knows what could have happened. Eric loves Beth because she is all Stephanie really isn't, she is gentle, soft, kind, thoughtful and very loving of ALL her children. Eric is basically just like Beth if you think about it, their personalities align.
