All the Logan children go too far. Donna and Katie just want their parents married - don’t care if one or both are miserable. Storm only cares about punishing his father, regardless of how his mom feels. Brooke goes whichever way guarantees her relationship with Ridge. Nobody is actually concerned with Beth’s feelings.

If you really do think about Beth is just a victim in this being put second by her family and not knowing stephanie is the one who started all this mess.

Indeed, they do not. They're essentially browbeating and/or gaslighting their own mother into tearful submission; it's sick, and it, unfortunately, appears to be working. (Beth might be developing Stockholm Syndrome... There's only so much abuse a person can take, you know?) Storm keeps trying to yell some sense into everyone (because yelling is literally all he knows), but The Shining Twins (read: "Twits") just do what they always do... "Oh, Stormy; you're so mean. Why don't you be nice to Daddy? Aren't his new slacks *handsome?* Isn't this all *JUST* *GREAT???"* (Insert fake, psychotic smiles, commence holding hands, and cue swelling string music.) "Stay with us, Mommy---Forever, and ever... AND EVER." The horror... The horror. I launched into a whole essay on how horrible the Logans are, especially those youngest two, in the commentary for Episode 287, if you're up for a long read.

This stuff with the Logans now seems really bizarre and fantasy-like to me, as if one of the characters is daydreaming. The exchange between Brooke and Storm and Donna/Katie's behaviour felt especially awkward and weird (check Katie's reaction to Beth walking off). Just feel like the dialogue is becoming really weak and the established relationships are changing too much. I do love the opening aerials of LA though.

It is bizarre. I have liked the portrayal of the Logan family in the beginning as a close and warm family, but at the moment the girls are all acting so ignorant about their mother's feelings, that it is scary. Katie telling her mom "Be happy." when Beth clearly wasn't and then handed Katie the ring. The one whose birthday they celebrated had to leave the restaurant so sudden, leaving her youngest daughters and Stephen behind. And Katie still didn't look upset/ worried that they had made their mother unhappy on Beth's birthday. Brooke first listens to how unhappy her mother is to have to spent her birthday with her family and Stephen, the man who had walked out on her 8 years ago, instead of spending it with Eric, the man she now loves - and Brooke still acted with Storm as if Beth might just fall for their dad again. And Donna's actions have been bizarre too. Doing something neither of her parents would agree with - modeling lingerie - buying with the salary her dad the ring he had never been able to buy for Beth during all these years (even when he had promised such a ring to Beth every year) And now Stephen handed it to Beth as a sign that he has changed and he now is successful enough to fullfill their dream? Did Donna ever think how Beth would feel if she learned the truth? That Donna has bought that ring by modeling lingerie? That Stephen has willingly taken the ring his daughter bought and that he had been ready to borrow the money for the restaurant from his daughter too if he hadn't gotten an early pay check?

Ridge Forrester, while not his biological child, as it was later retconned (circa 2001), is Eric Forrester's legal son and "heir apparent" to the Forrester "empire." He has no other son. Only reason I mention this is: I've heard it alluded to in other episode comment sections here on YT that Eric and Beth had a physical relationship that produced Storm, but that is inaccurate, given the story that has been presented. Eric would've had to cheat on Stephanie with Beth to make that happen. When this program started in 1987, the Forresters had been married 27 years. Ridge was 27, of course, Thorne was 25, and Beth's eldest, Storm, was 23, while Brooke was 21, etc. It was established early on that Beth and Eric had not seen one another since college. If you view the early Ridge / Caroline story through a certain lens, it was essentially "Eric & Beth: The Next Generation." Eric has stated more than once that he and Beth were never physically / sexually involved. One could surmise that that was the reason the ol' horn dog slept with Stephanie Douglas in the first place... because Beth was religious and saving herself for marriage. (Don't forget that "Liz Henderson" Bible of hers!) Much like Ridge, 28-ish years later, fooling around with Alex Simpson because Caroline wouldn't give it up. Like father, like son... Point being----unless there's been some incredible retcon in recent years I'm unaware of----Beth and Eric never had a child. Having said that, I agree that Beth is not a homewrecker, nor is she selfish. Only ones who can wreck a home are the ones who built it... Beth Logan can afford to be a heck of a lot MORE selfish, IMO.

@@georgcorfu Without question. Indeed Eric was in a relationship with Beth ("Liz Henderson") before he ever met Stephanie, and they were contemplating marriage. However, there was not (according to Eric in earlier episodes) a sexual relationship. Plus, it was established that Ridge (the reason the Forresters were married, albeit under what was later found to be false pretenses) is *several years older* than Storm. That was why I said Eric would've had to cheat on his wife with Beth in order to conceive that child. Finally, both Eric and Beth stated on several occasions that they had not seen each other since college---when Eric ditched Beth to marry the woman he'd cheated with, and to give *her* son a name.

It's everything you said is true I've heard it before but I just think they can come across a better way and say these are some suggestions you might want to consider when you're picking out your wardrobe not avoid this and avoid that cuz it feels like you're shaming them because of their size and they I'm going to look horrible if they don't if they wear what you say they shouldn't for example some people don't think bigger people should wear stripes because of the horizontal stripes makes you look bigger but I have a striped shirt and I'm okay with it this is coming from a plus-size woman by the way
