Caroline is carrying a lot of trauma while pining pining for another and getting worst, at least before she could spend time with Thorne, now she tried but couldn't, after what Ridge did and her belief that it was due to alcohol and Ridge practically putting the blame on her saying she was the aggressor, she can't get over it, she is emotionally drawn to him and has been avoiding Thorne, she doesn't want to be touched. I can't tell if when she looks through the window she wants to be there or she sort of resents Ridge for being able to enjoy being with Brooke.

I think this is the exact reason she should've moved out of that house with Thorne like her dad told her to. Proximity to Ridge was never a good thing for that marriage. Better yet, she should've married Ridge that day instead of Thorne - like Ridge begged her to. But yet, she just blames Brooke for that.

Yes she had reason to be angry, but I have explained why I thought Caroline was wrong to be as cruel as she was and will be even more in the future. Although I don't like her, I will still support her and justify her when something is not her fault. Like when Ridge got into bed with her, or when Storm accused her for helping his dad. And this now, She can't find her husband attractive anymore, it is quite cruel for her to let him touch her and want to make love to her, she is not into it at all. If she lets him make love, she'd be forcing herself. It's not Caroline's fault she doesn't feel the attraction she had for Thorne anymore (cause even if she didn't love him. there was attraction, since they were able to make love, and when Ridge got into bed with her, and her thinking it was Thorne she was quite into it and very aggressive sexually) As for her marriage, well it is partly her fault, she didn't get all the information, but not having the man you love doesn't mean you rush into marriage with someone else. She could have waited a bit. Not that I don't justify her for changing her mind. It can happen to people, even if she was crazy in love, this can also go away. I really don't blame Caroline for accepting Thorne as her husband, she is allowed mistakes. As for Brooke, I also liked Dave for her. But if you remember, in the last months before he left. Brooke was not into him at all. Imagine if they got married, Brooke might have had these intimacy issues with him as well. I think he is a very good man, and should be with someone who appreciates and is attracted to him.

For some reason, it took me a minute to process what you were saying! lol I get it, basically Caroline was only in the mood for making love to Thorne while drunk because Thorne's lovemaking is, as she put it in during her therapy sessions, just adequate. I'm pretty sure that around this time, Caroline had already been either shutting Thorne out or just going through the motions in bed and not feeling anything. She also had a very similar "looking down at Bridge by the pool" moment not long before the night of the prank that was similar to the one in this post-prank episode. Basically, she fantasized about being with Ridge, then it actually happened, and now she's in the throes of dealing with her feelings of a very magnetic pull towards Ridge. Caroline got to experience what she's seeing Brooke getting every night and feels nothing when she's with Thorne anymore.
