Not sure. I think Taylor for a while has been torn about the decision. Storm might have seem(ed) like the anti-thesis to her first husband. A niece, coolheaded, patient and "predictable" guy, getting along well with his two sisters and caring, respecting women and he even likes cooking for them, a guy who is committed .... - but "Storm" has later also proven that he can get aggressive (He hit Ridge when Ridge crashed his date with Taylor at Storm's place). I don't think that Taylor from the start has only put Storm in the "just friends" corner. That just seems too weird. I have male "friends", but I wouldn't kiss them romantically (and she did that for 6 months). Why accept an engagement ring from someone if you know for sure that you don't want more than "friendship"? But yes, somewhere along the way that ring turned more into a tease to urge Ridge into action - eg. Taylor in that black dress even visiting Ridge at the office to tell him she was meeting Storm for a dinner date to give him her answer.

I still wonder about these temporary recasts. They just feel so completely different. I don't remember B&B doing that during the last 2 decades or did they? Nowadays I think they change the SL or film different scenes until the actress/actor is available again. KKL recently broke both of her ankles. Brooke was offscreen for a while and then they had her sitting. No temporary recast.

@@mara4450 - Before 2010, each soap episode was filmed in a single day. So if an actor/actress was sick, they'd have to grab a replacement same day in order to stay on schedule. Those replacements had to show up same day, memorize lines, get into the scene, etc. Pretty incredible and talented. These days, because of lowering budgets, soaps no longer film one episode per day - they film multiple scenes from multiple episodes to save time and money. For example, KKL might tape several scenes from 3 different episodes in a single day. Calling in sick does not disrupt the schedule.

He butts in where he is not wanted in so many places. Some might say he try to exploit Taylor, but she was smarter than that. So it’s not all about Taylor exploiting the Logan’s. The Logan’s are NOT victims, particularly Brooke.

Here, Ridge and Brooke feel comfortable to kiss anywhere and anytime. None of them, is saying, this is wrong. Ridge kisses Brooke in the mouth and Brooke kisses Ridge in the mouth. They flirt and even make sexual enuendo s.After Bridge' s conversation today and Brooke's goodbye kiss, Bridge is having a platonic affair. If it's not Ridge going to see Brooke at the Lab, it's Brooke going to see Ridge at his office. They make sure, they see one another, hug, share what's happening in each other's life, embrace and kiss.Sounds like dating to me. After watching this week' s episodes, the much talked about Lab incident was just a climax of a well-built relationship or affair this two are having.This relationship or affair of theirs might even be unconscious. Let's face it, Bridge can't just ever not be in love or not drawn to one another.Perhaps, that's how they are, with each other but it's an affair because Brooke is married. I love Brooke and Ridge, but Moreso Brooke, too much.I am a diehard Bridge fan but Bridge is super wrong here.Ridge is also wrong, Brooke is his stepmother.

@@agnesmafaesa2922 Ridge was cornering Caroline every chance he got and only backed off after the prank, while Brooke moved in and was treated like a concubine at best. I can reference specific episodes and seasons. And when Ridge didn't seem responsive to Caroline it was because of his loyalty to Thorne. Brooke was never considered an obstacle except when she was pregnant. You couldn't possibly be that dense to misinterpret 3 entire seasons!! 🙄

As one of those Taylor fans, I've never disputed that Ridge loved Brooke. What irritates me is the Brooke fans who claim that Ridge didn't fall deeply in love with Taylor…. It is sooo funny….. All Brooke has to offer Ridge is sex, sex, sex; no wonder he becomes static around her… Brooke was always throwing herself on Ridge.She was so jealous of Taylo.....I never liked Brooke and Ridge too....

I love that Taylor was able to call Brooke out on her true intentions right from the start. She chose to marry Eric so she should have stayed away from his son and let Ridge be with another woman. I never realised Donna had a romantic history with Bill. Why do the writers pair up older men with teenage girls? Yuk! Donna comes across as a high school girl.
