Ridge and Brooke visit Stephanie, who tells them that Eric had just been there. Eric is at bane with Thorne, and they debate over whether or not to tell Brooke he had visited Stephanie. Eric later lies to Brooke about his visit, and she cannot believe that he would hide something from her. Blake and Taylor return from their date and kiss. Blake tells her he thinks they should try to make it work again. While Blake and Taylor listen to him on her answering machine, Ridge tells her that he would like to get together with her sometime soon.

Stephanie don't know wtf she is and Eric knows her more than anyone. Thorne told him not to tell Brooke, which was dumb, but in comparison, she is being ridiculous. Brooke on the other hand has been hateful and bitter regarding Stephanie and has openly told Eric Stephanie was faking the amnesia. Eric just wanted to avoid another argument. He still thinks Brooke is angry about his concern for Stephanie (because he does not know she came to the steam room to apologise BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T TELL HIM THAT)

Brooke is being poorly written during this period. Her "intense" love of Eric (which we were supposed to believe was true and real) has disappeared. She suddenly has a burning desire to be a chemical scientist when prior to that her job was merely to pay the bills. Her jealousy of Stephanie is out-of-character because Brooke has never seen Stephanie as competition. And she has totally forgotten about her baby.

A beautiful victorian house with high ceilings, a great fireplace they loved to use, .... remembering the terrific and happy years they had had in that house - until his condition pulled them apart. Blake makes a plea for them to try again - and Taylor doesn't seem to be opposed to that suggestion (but then Ridge calls).

Secrets and honesty - two Forrester brothers and their advises: Ridge advised Brooke to keep their dinner date a secret and then he advised Brooke to not confront Eric that Eric had secretly visited his ex-wife again - assuring Brooke that Eric will tell her on his own and Brooke has to be sensitive and show Eric her support. Thorne advised Eric to be sensitive and to not tell Brooke about his visit as that would stress Brooke. In the end Brooke still told Eric about her dinner date with Ridge and then got upset when Eric lied to her and pretended that he had been working late. And Brooke finally told Ridge the whole truth, that there is not just no wedding date (as she had told him before) but that Storm and Taylor have broken up and Storm has moved away.

Man , the chemistry between KKL & Ronn Moss was always off the hook. There is ZERO chemistry between KKL & Thorsten Kaye. It’s a shame Ronn left the show after 25 years. His absence was the first nail in the coffin of B&B, the second and final nail was when Susan Flannery retired. The show readily went down hill when they both left and never recovered to the point that the current show is completely unwatchable. Of course most of the fault lies in Bradley Bell’s horrendous writing and storylines.
