Ridge made the right decision "I can't be the father of your child". Taylor wanted to make sure Ridge reject Morgan's request because of the flirting between Ridge and Morgan, but Taylor was better off not having Morgan over for dinner and asking her to move out of her home immediately.

Sally is the best mother on this show and it’s not even close. Every word she said to Macy was true, but still supportive. They have such realistic mother-daughter chemistry. Morgan has a nerve claiming Stephanie forced her into having an abortion, when she herself doesn’t know how to accept boundaries and take “no” for an answer from Ridge.

Sally is actually confirming what I've been saying about the parallel between Macy's alcoholism and Thorne's "add ic tion" to Brooke. And Macy is once again meta commenting on her own out of character behavior, expressing her frus t ra tion at "this person she's become". She knows that she is not acting like herself and she doesn't like it.

I think Thorne and Brooke (especially Thorne) are the most to blame, but really _everybody_ plays a part in what happens to Macy. There's Ridge, Eric and Taylor with their scheming in Venice. Macy's alcoholism and her loving Thorne too much. Kimberly and Sally encouraging Macy to "compete" for Thorne even though it is counterproductive. Rick convincing Thorne to leave Macy for Brooke, by making it all about Ridge. Stephanie's health problems.

Yes, I've been saying the same thing! The unreliable narrative is taking over and now we are supposed to see Brooke and Thorne as the true love story and Macy as the obstacle. Them talking about "everything they've been though", and how they've "always" wanted to be together, you'd think they were the ones with the 10 year history and Macy was just some random person Thorne met in Venice.

"Our feelings have been tested" - Brooke is trying to make the narrative one of "true love overcomes all obstacles" when that is _not_ what we've been seeing on screen. In fact, it's not even what we are seeing on screen _now._ Brooke and Thorne's impatience to start their life together (at Macy's expense) is not making them look like a sympathetic couple to root for. Meanwhile, the show is trying to make Macy look like an obstacle, the "other woman", instead of portraying her as the wronged wife that she is.

Very out of character writing for so many characters. Most of all, Taylor actually considering Morgan's request is extremely out of character, Taylor of 1993 was very smart towards Brooke and Sheila with good intuition. Now she looks stupid. Kimberly the good girl will soon beome crazy and attempt murder. Becky being extremely stupid not going to a doctor to check her pains. Stephanie doesn't detect weak marriage between Thorne and Macy, and the looks between Brooke and Thorne. Macy being a little blind, needy, weak, and vengeful towards Brooke instead of being self destructive like in 1993. Also, CJ in 1996 was a fat bad boy, now he's marrying a dying lady to make her happy. Sally of the 90s would have been more agressive towards Thorne and Brooke.

Hard to enjoy this season because it seems every storyline is just bad. The Becky has cancer and literally EVERYONE knows but her is just idiotic. Morgan and ridge blaming Steph for her abortion and her being obvious with her obsession with ridge and wanting a child with him to get him back yet Taylor STILL hasn’t seen the red flags but wants to attack Steph for (accurately) predicting Morgan is going to be a problem. Like I said in a previous episode, I hate that they had to dumb down Taylor for her to even allow Morgan to get this far without kicking her out. Even the whole Macy/Thorne/Brooke triangle is just ridiculous. From Brooke actively trying to break up another marriage while pretending as if she’s worried about Macys drinking and wants to “look out for her” to Thorne forgetting about everything Macys done for him just to be Brooke’s 3rd choice after he SEES her cheating on him is idiotic. These past few episodes of Macy degrading herself in front of Brooke over Thorne of all people was just hard to see. Especially when we KNOW even back then that Brooke is gonna end up leaving him for his brother

She did level with her, she told her straight up you can’t trust her and you should get rid of her, and even since she first met Morgan she was giving off red flags that she may still want ridge. She just decided to ignore it and assume Morgan was over it. Not Stephanie’s fault that Taylor was being dumb. Whether Steph told her what happened or not anyone paying attention could see she’s unstable.

The new millennium BB is not so entertaining. All is flat and reduced to silliness. Taylor's attitude could've been better if she had acted this way knowing Morgan is a psycho who needs friends more than enemies in order to let her down gently. But I don't think this is even remotely the way Taylor is looking at it.

At a point where Macy was just barely managing to stay sober, Brooke told her that Thorne wanted to leave her and was only staying with her because she was an alcoholic (which wasn't even true, and which happened minutes after Thorne had just told Brooke that he _couldn't_ tell Macy about his feelings for Brooke because it would kiII her). That conversation was the final straw that caused her to relapse.
