I hate the character of Deacon, but I must admit he’s very good at physical comedy. The way he chomped loudly and ate the Cornish game hen with his hands, practically picking his teeth like Archie Bunker as he sprawled on the couch, cracked me up. Ah, poor Bridget. I know she’s been acting dumb as hell, but she still made me feel badly for her.

Yes, SK does comedy well. And I would feel sorry for Bridget if it wasn't for the fact that she went and married some guy she just met and she's only now finding out what kind of a man he is. This scene felt like another parallel to the Venice storyline (Macy cooking the duck for Thorne only to have him not show up for dinner).
