Bridget tells Rick she has spent more time with Whip and Brooke than him and she honestly believes Brooke loves him. Brooke manages to evade Whip’s seduction, but Whip assures his bride to be that they will sleep together on their wedding night. Deacon tells Brooke he won’t allow her to marry Whip. Erica slyly offers to go to Brooke’s wedding as Zende’s friend if he wants and gives him her phone number. Amber is distressed when her doctor refuses to refill her pain medication.

Erica seems the most comfortable when she is playing chess with Zende and spending time with kids much younger than herself. Those scenes ring a lot more true and genuine than the scenes she shares with Amber. It doesn't appear to be all scheming, but who she actually is. And I have to say she is a surprisingly good singer - much better than Amber whom she admires so much. That song (and that voice) makes her seem even more like a Disney princess (@Nick who compared her to Ariel the other day, although I maintain she is definitely Rapunzel), giving the impression that she is an "innocent" character type in spite of _also_ being a "staIker".

Out of all the young girls who sang on this show in the early 2000s (Amber, Kimberly, Erica), Erica is the best singer and Amber the least capable. And yet it is Amber who gets to sing over and over and over again, for some reason I can't comprehend. Out of those three, Erica is the one I actually enjoyed listening to.

Honestly I'd have preferred if the way it went down was Clarke getting back into Forrester, finally fulfilling his dream of a Clarke garrison line and taking over Ridge's office instead. I hate this whole thing SO much. Ridge not being at Forrester and owning Spectra and Amber and Rick suddenly being prominent at Forrester is all wrong. This is the beginning of Brad messing up the corporate storylines so that eventually the companies won't even feel real.

So I’m not getting either how she finds him now to be so irresistible? It makes no sense and the writers can’t make it make sense. The only upside to the storyline is Stephanie is going to end the charade. The downside is Bridget is going to find out. 😮 The behavior of Deacon and Brooke is incredibly awful and irredeemable at this point…😡
