I could spit when she says "it doesn't mean she's the perfect woman for Ridge". This is abysmal. Ask Ridge if Taylor was perfect for him. But Bell is already turning his buttons.

Anyway, she knows this is wildly inappropriate but it's the only way she can relate to Brooke and be her friend / accomplice, by pushing her onto someone else's man. The scene with Taylor laying in that bed and the three of them talking makes me think she is not de ad yet but unconscious. But in the previous episode it was clear she died in Ridge's arms. I know Taylor probably asked the doctors not to intervene and I know also that the writer didn't inted that scene to be ambiguous because he really wanted Taylor's character de ath. Stephanie's attempt to give her beloved Taylor another chance to be saved it's even more moving.

I assume the writers did not plan to leave it ambiguous. 🤷‍♀BUT 1) the filming - showing Taylor's chest and the blanket moving while they talked about Taylor 2) Ridge's actions - twice keeping the doctor away from checking on Taylor (when Stephanie wanted the doctors to try to revive her, when the doctor and the orderlies wanted to enter the room) - help to make it ambiguous and that we then later have Omar taunting Ridge that Ridge didn't try everything to keep Taylor alive. The _resurrection_ still was hard to believe and badly written in 2005, but it would be worse if we had seen the doctors in 2002 checking on Taylor and verifying that Taylor has passed and that there wasn't a pulse.

Well, the way i see it, is that is the only kind of conversation anybody can have with Brooke. Her character is too shallow for anything else. Seriously, think about it. The only convo this woman has, with anybody, centres around her love life, who she's sleeping with, who she's about to sleep with, who she wants to sleep with (but possibly can't), how s E xy she is.. Etc etc... Brooke never has one meaningful conversation.. Not with Ridge, Steph, Eric, Thorne, her children, her children's spouses, her accomplice /friends, her family... And meghan is such a min entity character, so she just falls into talking about the only topic of interest to Brooke... Otherwise, what else would they talk about lol

There are so many other scenes too that underscore their different worldview. They had an open-casket funeral, but apparently Omar had planted a lifelike mannequin/dummy in Taylor's coffin. Sometime after that scene with Ridge, Stephanie and Eric grieving next to (a comatose) Taylor, Omar's people have taken Taylor's body from the hospital and have taken her to Morocco.
