Tricia tells Thorne he’s too nice to hit on an unsuspecting houseguest. Thorne groans, saying that nice guys always finish last. Tricia replies that won’t be the case tonight and she gives him a kiss. Brooke apologizes for the incident with Tricia, but she’s sick of feeling under siege because she loves Ridge. Flustered, Brooke adds, that she doesn’t love him in the way that Stephanie thinks. Ridge assures Brooke it’s okay, he knows what she means. Megan tracks down Deacon in an effort to get him to back off, but she inadvertently spurs him on. Deacon realizes that one word from him and he could blow Brooke’s world to Hell.

Never been a Deacon fan, but SK mockingly mimic Brooke, right down to tracing the path of one imaginary tear from the *left* eye down his cheek, was just 😚.

Brooke's reminiscing is actually proving Tricia's point. And I notice she conveniently left out all those memories of Ridge leaving her and choosing other ppl to marry... Thrice. I think she esp forgot about that time she pretended to be pregnant to marry Ridge and keep him away from Taylor who actually was having Ridge's child. That annulment and sitting in the back of Taylor and Ridge's wedding crying, didn't make her memory bank.

@@scor66 it's how they are showing Brooke and Ridge's first "meeting" when she was the help catering at his house, as if that started something naturally between them. When really, all that started was Brooke's absolute obsession over Ridge, while Ridge had zero interest in Brooke and went on to pursue Caroline until Brooke stole his letter and Caro went on to marry Thorne as a result. I don't know where in the world, other than in Brooke's mind, is manipulating ppl and situations to get a man is the start of a relationship /romance / even friendship. I guess that's why they are only showing it from Brooke's memories, while all Ridge's memories of being in love, are about Taylor.

“We have such a wonderful history, the memories are precious to me and I know they’re precious to you too” Ridge- *just looks at her* Crazy how Brooke ALWAYS has to do the talking for both of them. Wonder why when your thinking about on your history you don’t include his dad and brother also having their way with you, and ridge choosing to marry other women over you and constantly telling you he’s not leaving his wife for you no matter how much you begged.

Sally helpfully mentions Adam Alexander, just so viewers won't get confused when we see him in a few days. And of course she mentions Macy too, in case we forgot about her since the last time she was mentioned two episodes ago. However, at the end of Sally's scene, there is a completely different kind of subtle foreshadowing. Sally experiences some vague discomfort in her shoulder, which will eventually turn out to be a serious health problem.

@annieo6527 I feel like DC wouldn't allow her character to be destroyed by Brad just to revolve around and elevate Brooke, as is being done with everyone else. I can't remember her exact departure from the show, but I always remember her character being the one I consistently loved throughout.

@@TriniT21 yes, out of every character on the show, she was the one who _never once_ felt out of character because DC had such a strong and colorful screen presence. Even Stephanie eventually lost her original characterization, but never Sally. Her character is very resilient to bad writing because she was _always_ likely to do just about anything.

Deacon almost destroyed Brooke's relationship with her daughter? Ahmm.. I think Brooke also had alot to do with that. Frustrating how much the writers want to make Brooke the victim and therefore the forgiveable one, as if Deacon somehow took advantage of her. And funny all this vitriol coming from Megan who was literally pushing Brooke and Deacon together behind Bridgit's back.

I don't actually feel bad for Deacon (as I don't feel bad for any of these men who willingly put themselves with this trashy woman). But I feel disgusted that Brooke's somehow being made out to be the victim and Deacon the bad guy, when she was a very active participant in their affair. Why should Brooke get to go on and live happily ever after as if she did nothing wrong, while everyone else suffers consequences

Last we saw Deacon he chose to give up his life for Brooke, now he’s acting like he had no say in the matter. Brooke could have fired him but they can’t make him stay away from his daughter.

Brooke played just as a big a role in destroying her relationship with her daughter (even bigger bc she chose to keep the spawn of that affair), and Deacon wasn't run out of town. He willingly sacrificed and is now mad bc he realises Brooke isn't. And Brooke's now mad bc he won't just let her go chase Ridge in peace after she dumped him, the way Eric and Thorne did.

Deacon:" Taylor's gone WHICH means Ridge is free" Nobody can't deny the evidence: Taylor had to die for Brooke to have a chance. The famous night at the cabin many always refer to say Tridge was not worthy, hidden by the script after Taylor's first dea th was not a good one to split up Tridge and was not enough. Taylor jad to be gone from the screen and the show.

Granted it takes two to tango, but Deacon is right in some ways. How does Brooke come out of this horrible situation smelling like a rose after having an affair with her daughter's husband, get pregnant no less, but Deacon loses everything, was basically forced out of town and yet he's deemed the bad guy? Brooke after all was a 100% willing participant. Hopefully the cat will be let out of the bag soon just in time to spoil her little get back together dreams lol.
