Bc Brooke is always supposed to be the victim, no matter what she's done. Rick has always been a sap for his mother, bc she's always made him feel sorry for her, when she's never ever cared anything about him (except for what he could do for her to get Ridge or whatever man she wanted at that time) .

I wonder why Soap opera characters cars are always invisible??? Rick is super surprised when he’s sees Bridgette inside Ridges home.😂

The writing becomes more and more messed up.. not only was Rick almost not mad at a Brooke at all for Deacon, the first time he sees Bridget since he found out, the first thing he says to her isn’t god forbid that he’s sorry for what she went through and he’s there for her or something like that, no, instead of that, he attacks her for hurting Brooke , never mind the fact that Brooke hurt her first a thousand times worse and that given that, Bridget doesn’t owe her a damn thing

“I can’t believe you would do this to her!” Ric says to the sister who became a stepmother to her own sister. I wish they would point out they only kissed twice, and both times ridge and Brooke weren’t even engaged. How can that compare to Brooke having a baby with her daughter HUSBAND?
@tiroyaonejustinphologolo976318 сағат бұрын
I hate that they're making this about Brooke. Bridget and Ridge are wrong, regardless of Brooke.
@TriniT215 сағат бұрын
It doesn't compare. But on the Brooke Show, everyone else is so mean to poor little Brooke who said she was sorry. I mean, why are they all so mean to her??? 🙄🙄🙄 Rick isn't even studying that his new half sister is also the half sister of his adopted son Lil Eric. 🤕 (Incidentally, that could have been a good story to follow if the writers weren't so concerned with making everyone look bad to make Brooke look good). The only person who has been causing scandal in the family and twisting the family tree, is Brooke.

Of all the ways Thorne and Darla could tell Macy the truth, why did they have to choose the crueIest and most devastating? First telling Macy that she can adopt Darla's baby, making her believe all her dreams will come true, and then going "wait, there's a catch..." Macy has been through a lot, but losing her husband, her best friend, and her future chiId in the course of _one conversation_ is right up there with the worst things she has ever experienced. (It's too bad we didn't get to see those episodes because BE does a good job with Macy going through _every_ emotion known to mankind over the course of that conversation.)

@annieo652718 сағат бұрын
Macy's entire storyline after coming back from the dead has been (and will continue to be) extremely rushed and underdeveloped. Things that should have played out over months or even years are resolved in just a few scenes. The storyline of Darla's pregnancy would have had a LOT more emotional impact if Macy had actually adopted the baby, built a relationship with the chiId for a few years (like Ridge did with young Bridget), and _then_ found out the truth. In fact, a lot of what happened in Taylor's storyline after her 2005 return felt like it should have been Macy's storyline. The alcoholism was always Macy's thing, not Taylor's, and Macy finding out about her child's paternity a few years later would have been a perfect reason for her to start drinking again. Taylor driving drunk and unaliving Darla, covering it up, and then trying to compensate for it by being there for Thorne and his daughter would have been so much more impactful if it had been _Macy_ unintentionally unaliving her best friend, and Sally persuading her to hide it in order to prevent Aly from losing both her bioIogical mother and her adoptive mother (and to prevent Sally herself from losing her daughter again). It's like the writers suddenly lost all interest in Macy's storyline here and couldn't wait to get it out of the way so they could focus on their new shiny toys (Nicky and Jackie). The shift away from the Spectras is Payne-fully obvious.
@TriniT215 сағат бұрын
It was wonderful seeing Sally being her Sally self. I can't tell you how I prefer seeing her on my screen than nosy newcomer Jackie and nick. I've noticed that they even have Darla as a different character.. Her voice isn't the same Darla like voice (def deeper now).. Where's the Darla who was offering Massimo pigs in a blanket? They've basically also cancelled Clarke, who actually had a good potential storyline with his son with Margo coming to LA to find him... That story went left and now we have no idea where Mark went. So it was basically, Clarke met his son, said great!, and then a stupid sibling rivalry over bridgit who ended up not even interested in either brother as she chose to be interested in her own... They literally decimated the Spectra's in the worst way...

Brooke was certainly a chatty Cathy about Bridget and Ridge. Rick had nerve saying to Bridget how you could do this to her, really? What kind of a mother would sleep with her son in law? Did Brooke and Ridge play house when Brooke was married to Eric, because Brooke wanted Ridge to be daddy? Bridget was slowly turning into Brooke
@MariaPerez-sb1xp18 сағат бұрын
Darla actually thought Thorne fell for her after a drunk one night stand, when he invited her for dinner right after. This is because intimacy is emotional for women and often solely hormonal for men. And don't forget: illusions have no flaws.

Darla is in a similar situation that Brooke was in when she got pregnant with Deacon's baby (since Macy and Darla are being portrayed as very close friends, almost like sisters). But unlike Brooke, Darla is actually willing to make things right, by making an actual sacrifice, the biggest sacrifice she could possible make - giving up her firstborn child, who is also her _only living bIood relative._ Brooke was not willing to give up anything at all for Bridget.

So what does Ricky-boy think Ridge owes Brooke? Nothing, after everything she's done to other people. Little Rick always sees his mother as a victim. When she had an affair with his sister's husband, all he could say was a tired "Oh, Mum." I could laugh my ass off every time this underachieving would-be head of the family puffs himself up and thinks everyone is trembling with respect for him.

Darla today is making sense and Thorne can't argue with Darla here. There really is a good chance of a medical emergency and that the truth might come out (Ridge) or that the child might be 6 already when suddenly the whole world explodes (Bridget and when she then learned that her granddad is really her biological dad and her dad, Ridge, then was supposed to be her half-brother).
@annieo65277 сағат бұрын
I kind of feel for Thorne here because he is in an impossible situation most of which is not his fault. He never actually meant to sleep with Darla, and then he was put in a position to have to choose between his wife and his only biologicaI child, and thought he could somehow have both because he didn't want to give either of them up. I don't know how he could have handIed the situation in a way that didn't end disastrously once he found out Darla was pregnant. Macy might have found out the truth eventually, regardless of whether or not she adopted the baby, and in fact, regardless of whether or not Darla actually went through with the pregnancy. It was a no win situation.

@@annieo6527 I have felt a bit sorry for Thorne during the first years, but I can't really find much sympathy for a 40+ year old man getting so stupidly drunk that he ends up telling another woman "I love you" and then he has sex with that woman while thinking it is Macy/ a dream. If Thorne would have had a child with Caroline, that child now would be older than Rick and even Rick nowadays, should better act more mature than to get so drunk that he doesn't know anymore with whom he has s e x. Maybe I would have more sympathy if Thorne would have instantly told Macy the morning after and would have allowed Macy to be angry but to forgive Thorne after a while if he really regretted it. But Thorne only confessed that mistake now because he hopes he can have it all (child AND his wife's forgiveness/ even happiness about such a child).

Rick really hit the nail on the head what he says is absolutely true. Ridge is at fault and a jerk. I think that maybe he and Taylor deserved each other. Also I don't see Rick at this point having a problem with Ridges paternity he still sees him as a forrester. Its Ridge who is always wanting to be in charge. Rick at this point is showing to be more mature.

Rick, one minute you tell Ridge that Bridget might want to hurt Brooke after your mother's cruel betrayal, *having a child with Bridget's **-now ex-** husband* , but in the next minute you appeal to Bridget that having a romantic thing with your -not bio- brother is wrong because of what *It is doing to **_your mom_* . 😅So do you want to _en_ courage or _dis_ courage such a thing between your siblings?

After the strawberry blonde Bridget recast, Sally will be the only ginger actress of the cast again. There always was a certain ginger percentage, with Erica Lovejoy, Lauren Fenmore, Morgan deWitt and occasionally with Bobbie Eakes back in the day to mimick her mother's genes.

I have some episodes to catch up on, but has Darla talked to Sally that she considers adoption? Darla was definitely so wrong to get drunk with Thorne and then to have sex with the man her friend/ sister figure loves, but still it seems wrong that Darla loves and wants that baby so much, while others, push her to abort or to give that baby up for adoption, including her mother figure, Sally.
@annieo65279 сағат бұрын
Who knows? This storyline is so underdeveloped most of it seems to happen off screen. But I don't think Darla has talked to Sally about it. Sally is just assuming based on the fact that Darla has been skipping work and seems to be depressed about the pregnancy.

@Pete_Murphy_Love19 сағат бұрын
Why not? She should be pissed at her as it was her dear sweet bestie who came back to the bedroom and climbed in bed with an unconscious Thorne and bedded him. Sure they was both drunk but Thorne was unconscious to the point he thought Darla was Macy. Darla was eyeing Thorne up in bed before she came back to ask Thorne if she could stay. Nope. Darla took advantage of Thorne. Thornes only excuse was that he’s stupid like his father for not asking Macy WTF she was doing on the bed with Lorenzo professing she’d always love him. It looked bad, really bad but even still I can still sorta sympathize with Thorne.

Nah. This was 100% Darla’s fault. I’ll say it again since they are deleting posts. She betrayed Macy in the worst way possible. Macy should never forgive her.
