We are now reaching a point where the effects of Ridge's paternity retcon are starting to spread throughout the fabric of the show. It is now affecting Massimo, Stephanie, Bridget, Ridge, and very soon it will reach Brooke and Eric as well. The only area of the show where the r o t has not yet set in is the Spectra storyline, and even there, it's only a matter of time because Ridge's connection to Massimo has already caused Sally to lose controI of her own company.

Well said. I just posted in the previous episode that this was when I stopped watching the show completely back in the day. And you can see it in the comment section too. There's a lot less engagement with the show now.

Without Stephanie either, despite the fact that Thorsten Kaye has been Ridge since late 2013, Ron Moss will always be Ridge, and Hunter Tylo will always be Taylor, the fact they got a third actress to play Taylor after the second one left, shows why their’s only been one Taylor for so many years:

Not only characters missing but the storylines, or LACK of them, is bringing the show down. The only thing they do, is go between the Hope / Thomas office or the Ridge/ Eric/ Steffy office. The same repetitive conversation can go on for a week of episodes. And Brooke , Katie, Donna and so on, they pretty much just show up in fancy clothes. There is no content anymore

The look Stephanie gives to Brooke after she says " Taylor's gone" is full of anger and a pain because there's very little to do. Ridge wants Brooke there and he doesn't care less if his previous wife despised and suffered for that walking blonde trash. Stephanie herself doesn't look as someone who has lost a beloved one. She is so occupied to worry about Ridge's paternity and Brooke in Ridge's life again.

He’s been like that the whole time. Even in Italy he ran around with Brooke the whole time, while Bridget watched the kids 24\7. In fact, JF had so few scenes that she seems to have been brought to Italy for the sole purpose of finding out about Ridge’s parentage.
