She wanted to punish Thomas. However she does love Douglass, and they helped each other during a very painful time for both of them. I wish the shared custody agreement was more in depth, meaning if Douglass wanted more time with his Dad, as he stated he did, that it would be done and liam and brooke would need to stay out of it.

thomas was the one who put it in her head. she wasn’t trying to steal him. and at the time she “lost” beth and douglas got attached with hope really easily. she loves him like her own!!! children need both mom and dad or they lack things or have issues. no one can argue with me on that! more risks and issues and adolescent problems when only 1 parent is present or hardly present.

True. Also the way Douglas talks is so off and cheesy, no child is that emotional all the time, telling nice things to adults. Kids don't think so much about the how and why. Mostly you see if they are happy from the way they act and behave, but they certainly don't talk constantly about their feelings.
