All the things that Ridge finds so disgusting in Shauna pale in comparison to Brooke. For Brooke he has no standards. Caroline's letter. The affair with Eric and taking 51% of FC should have been the end. Taylor's pregnancy. She was going to marry Ridge w/o telling him Deacon was Hope's father. Then he blames only Nick for Grieving Widow's Honeymoon Romp! My favorite was Brooke Chaperone Romp, the man she's been sleeping with 40ish years she mistook for a 20ish boy. Yep, not a single standard does he hold Brooke to.

This is the problem I always have with Ridge. He always goes back to Brooke and forgets all the horrible things she has done. Ridge has forgotten how Brooke duped Thomas into signing adoption papers. Ridge has forgotten the kiss with Bill. That's why Brooke does things. She knows no matter what Ridge will always forgive her. Ridge takes a stand and puts his foot down where Brooke is concerned.

Brooke and Ridge are selfish individuals; They want what they want, and don't care who they hurt. So, Brooke and Ridge are perfect for each other. I truly think they go back to each other, more out of habit and routine after their sexcapades as this is all they know.

@@kayschultz4113 Facts and look Ridge is about to marry Brooke once again even after everything she did to his son. Ridge forgives and forgets way too quickly. The same thing with Eric. Eric has allowed Donna to worm her way back into his life, his house and his bed and he has forgotten everything Donna did to him. Donna practically stole half of Eric's shares during their divorce. She demanded half of Eric's shares as compensation for her mother's death. Beth Logan died and someway, somehow Donna felt that entitled her to shares. She was just mad that Eric was no longer siding with her. Eric refused to allow Stephanie to be prosecuted and sent to jail over something that was clearly an accident.

Eric always chose Brooke over his family, so why wouldn't Ridge do the same? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. All the men are Loganized.
