@@whizmiss that's a potentially great storyline for the future. Bring the Marone family back on the canvas with Jack. He can come back as a young adult and can take over Marone Industries. I've thought about that the last couple years. There are so many good possible storylines they could do with more Forresters and the Marones. They just choose to focus on the same boring recycled love triangles over and over and over and over for the 500th time. Also the heart of the show was always the fashion world/Forrester Creations. Nowadays you wouldn't even know. They have like what, maybe one fashion show once a year now? Such wasted potential.

He married Taylor first because his dad begged him not to go after Brooke because she was married to him. Brooke was pregnant with Rick when Caroline died. Taylor was her oncologist that turned psychologist to help console people in grief....like Ridge. Ridge persued Taylor for a long time. Taylor was dealing with her ex-husband who was abusive in their marriage. Ridge and her ex (Blake Hayes) had an altercation after he tried to manhandle Taylor. Stephanie tried to catch Brooke cheating on Eric and put up cameras in the lab where she worked. She invented the BeLief formula while Ridge was there and they fell to the floor and had sex. Brooke found out she was pregnant and thought that Ridge was the father...but Bridget was Eric's. Eric begged Ridge not to go after Brooke even though she may be pregnant with Ridge's child. Ridge cried all the way to St Thomas but convinced he would move on with his life. Taylor got pregnant with Thomas in St. Thomas where Ridge proposed to Taylor. Taylor found out from Stephanie what she caught Brooke and Ridge doing in the lab. Taylor didn't tell Ridge she was pregnant but told him the wedding was off. Thorne told her that he would tell everyone that he was the father of her baby. Ridge and Brooke got engaged...until the truth came out about Thomas. He married Taylor.

@@robinmcv ummm - your history is not accurate. Taylor was pregnant with Thomas much much later, after Ridge and Taylor had already married and separated and then got back together. In fact, Thomas was conceived when Ridge was thrown in jail as he was the prime suspect in a shooting incident.

Might I add Ridge never pursued Taylor.Ridge was waiting for Brooke to divorce Eric, Taylor was making moves on Ridge and Eric encouraged her to go after Ridge, so Brooke won't leave him.When Ridge saw how much Eric was hurt by the possible divorce from Brooke, he ran to find Taylor where she was vacationing and married her, there.

Also Bridge WERE ENGAGED TO BE MARRIED AND BROOKE HAD MOVED OUT OF ERIC'S HOUSE. ERIC AGREED TO ISSUE A DIVORCE BUT TAYLOR STOPPED HIM SO SHE COULD INTERLOPE HERSELF IN BETWEEN BRIDGE AND GET RIDGE TO MARRY HER. And she got Eric to renege on issuing the divorce unless Brooke move back into the house with him and then he'd promise to issue the divorce. So when Brooke did this it caused Ridge to become unhinged like he is doing to this day and Taylor was there with her BLACKMAGIC VOODOO TALK to get Ridge to marry her instead of Brooke and to not wait on Eric to issue the divorce. She was also sleeping with Ridge and her ex husband Blake during the same time. Ridge never found out about that either. And when Ridge married Taylor it was so Brooke would stay married to Eric even though they had been separated and Bridge had been engaged in a relationship for awhile soap opera time.

Rewritten BS: Brooke was ENGAGED to Dave while she was daydreaming and plotting to get to Ridge who was ENGAGED to Caroline. Brooke found out that her mom was catering at Forresters estate and begged to go along. Ridge thought that Brooke was CAROLINE who was late for their engagement party. It was NOT LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. She befriended Caroline by going to the hospital with Donna after Caroline passed out after finding out Ridge slept with a old lover super-model who came to town a couple of days before their wedding. Thorne and Brooke kept Ridge and Caroline from reuniting. Brooke hid a letter she wrote to Ridge. Ridge reluctantly got engaged to Brooke because Caroline was with Thorne and got married because Ridge didn't respond to her letter. CAROLINE was the love of Ridge's life. Caroline found out that Brooke hid her letter in a book and confronted her saying she thought that Brooke was her friend but all along it was to get close to Ridge. After Caroline told Ridge what Brooke and Thorne did they got back together and got married. Brooke then went after Eric...and got pregnant with her anchor baby to the Forrester fortune. Brooke is and always has been a lying cheating scoundrel who wasn't happy being a middle-class citizen. Her first victim of 100's of men she cheated on was DAVE.

Ridge was not engaged to caroline at the time. she collapsed and called off the wedding. Brooke was a friend to a destroyed caroline. Say what you will but Ridge came onto Brooke first who rejected him. She left him naked by the pool. Then lied to caroline saying that whatever Brooke said wasn't true. Caroline replied that Brooke never told her anything & that's how caroline found out Ridge tried to cheat on her again. Every time Brooke tried to leave, Ridge pulled her back in. He even flattened her tire on purpose so she had to go with him to Big bear for his proposal. And FYI Ridge was Brooke's first & caroline was the first to marry & have sex with two brothers.

You cannot deny that attraction. Your story has a lot if loopholes as well. ridge pursued Brooke while she was engaged. Caroline and ridge broke up. I font remember if he actually cheated or her father set it up because he didn't want her to marry Ridge because he was a play boy. Either way they broke up. Caroline was raped after that started dating Thorne and got engaged. Leading up to the wedding Ridge wrote Caroline a letter that Brooke withheld until I believe the day of her wedding to Thorne but she married Thorne anyways.

I never liked Brooke from day one. She was skanky from the start. She married her way through the entire family and schemed the entire time. You can't turn a skank into a lady, she will always revert back to her true self which Brooke has time and tie again.
