They didn't love it at all. The woman absolutely hated it but didn't know how to react and she did not want to fall out with her neighbours, but you can tell she thought it was awful. And it was awful. Sack those designers.

What’s the point in switching houses when they don’t even get to decide how to renovate it. They absolutely hated painting those walls those horrid colors. But they were forced to and then the show makes it out like it was their idea.

That’s the entire point. What did you think was going to happen here? That they would do each other’s rooms based on the others’s exact specifications? You might as well just do your own room then lol. You can’t just be like oh decorate my room exactly how I would want it but on an unlimited budget that I don’t have to pay for. lol

No one wants to watch a show where the homeowners get a free room makeover on an unlimited budget and gets to decide exactly what they want but gets it done quickly and efficiently and renovated by professionals with no drama, lol. Not to mention, wildly unrealistic and impractical.

one feature wall colour would’ve been fine, but THREE? the red mesa tone would’ve been beautiful for a mediterranean feel if the floors were able to be stained a darker wood, alternatively the green would’ve been lovely if it was less key-lime pie and more sage - would’ve paired easily with the original wood tones/the existing white. But THREE DIFFERENT COLOURS?? it looks like modern from a 2001 perspective, which is a modern nightmare by todays standards. jesus christ
