But it didn't seem like the family was happy. I can understand it though. Eventhough it's been transformed beautifully, it did not feel like home to them. There were so much memories built up over the years. The things they loved. The piano..the sofas..the indoor structures..all gone.

So true. When our 9 year old special needs daughter passed away in August of 2014....we knew SHE was doing the best out of all of us. No more seizures, no more disabilities, no more limitations. It was our 12 year old son who struggled the most. Our other daughter was 6 at the time and was somewhat sheltered with innocence and acceptance of “sissy is perfect and I’ll see her when I get to Heaven. Yes she grieved but our son....he mourned. And mourned. I didn’t realize how much pain i held back due to the strength he NEEDED me to have. I told him from the very first day that if anyone came up to him and told him to be strong....he was just to walk away because he did NOT have to be strong. He’s 19 now and he said that was the best gift we could have given because it allowed him to grieve as he needed to. I can’t explain the feeling of burying a child...because no words do it justice, but to overlook the siblings can be detrimental. Today....we miss her so very much...but we are a family who grieved and grew together instead of apart. Today....as impossible as it once seemed....there is joy once again.

Something came to my mind which gave me peace then, and I share it any time I am able to, and I'll share it here. Tears are the ultimate price we all have to pay for having been given the beautiful gift of being able to love - and to be loved by - another. Love is the strongest, most pure emotion we Humans have. Love is SO pure and strong that not even death can sever the bond which love creates.

The lockdown was no joke for large families, you don't realise how much you rely on those school hours to catch up on the housework, then add a terminal diagnosis onto that and I would probably be in the exact same position as this family, and I only have four children.

@@rissole799 wasn't talking about you specifically when I said about affordability. Very glad that you are privileged to large resources to satisfy the never ending needs & wants of your big family while the whole world suffers which you may not care about as you are busy feeding the wants of your family cuz ofcouse 1 child is not enough for a couple in this planet. Very similar to cancers and parasites who just want to breed more and more consuming more and more and that's why the world is ending. You'd obviously think caring about the planet and the universe would cause bitterness. But on the contrary that's what gives purpose to humans living off of this planet, unlike breeding and endless consumption! If you have travelled the world visiting not the 5star hotels but the dark streets, understanding the darkness in the media and the darkness of the human minds, you might understand the world we live in! The whole world knows how blind and self absorbed etihw(in reverse) people are. Now the rest of the world is following their way of life and that is exactly why the world is getting destroyed! I hope you and your future generations wake up to reality! I'm actually sure future generations will realize as there won't be a choice or a world left to consume...

The parents are hardcore hoarders and this disease just escalates. You can't fix this problem with a home makeover. They need therapy for hoarding. Those poor children will be living in chaos again in 6 months tops. Hoarders like these parents rely on family members and others to come in every few years and fix things for them and then they do it all over again. Sometimes these people will have been on more than one TV show or part of more than one makeover. I used to believe these people could change until I saw a few followup shows. Very few change and you can tell the ones that will change right off the bat because they take responsibility for their actions and don't blame outside pressures and forces. I wish I believed in the fairytale but I have seen too many episodes of hoarders to fool myself.

@milkyyyyway3 жыл бұрын
@@blackgown7485 It is really amazing what they did but need i remind you that the sentence "you wouldn't see Muslims show such deep generosity" is actually quite mean, considering our whole religion is based of of peace. In the Qur’an it does say respect other religions instead of forcing them to convert or making mean or snarky comments to them: Indeed, the believers, Jews, Christians, and Sabians-whoever truly believes in God and the Last Day and does good will have their reward with their Lord. Therefore, Islam often teaches its adherents to be forgiving in the life of other religions, the forgiving attitude of the noble mind and humanity and respect the rights of others.

@@blackgown7485 yes we have lots of attacks based of off terrorism but what about the times we haven't? What about when a white Christian male commits a horrible act instead of saying "CHRISTIAN MAN KILLS HIS WIFE" they use the term "man undergoing some severe mental illness has kill his wife out of sorrow and aganoy" but if it was a Muslim we all now how different it would be. If someone does something wrong who DOES happen to be religious. Blame the person, not the religion. Because what happens is you put everyone in a box.

I don't know why would people dislike this video.. where some generous people are actually helping people who are in need. Every kind of help is beautiful.. no matter small or big and should be appreciated. I don't know what goes on inside the heads of some people.

I couldn't help but comment on this video. When I saw this, I asked my self what business does Parker have with remodeling homes but on watching this video I can really and sincerely say that there is no other video worth watching especially now. God really bless you, your family, friends and crew. Thanks for making us feel these great emotions and reminding us that there is more to this world than just ourselves.❤

I was fighting back tears the entire time watching this. The sheer amount of love, thoughtfulness, intention and generosity that went into this overwhelmed me completely. All the lovely souls that came together to uplift this beautiful family in their hardship and strife gives me hope for our world. I’m sending prayers of comfort, peace and healing for both Eli and Riley’s families in their mourning; I can’t imagine how difficult all this has been for them, and I pray they feel the support and love of both their Heavenly Father and their community around them. I lost one of my closest friends to illness this past year and it devastated me, but even still, the loss of your child is something I can’t fathom the depths of. I’ve seen how it’s torn apart her mom and dad, and how the loss of my uncle tore apart my grandmother, my mother and family when he passed young as well. But even in the midst of heartbreak, I can see how God has drawn near and ministered to them and even myself in my grief, and I pray that over these families. 💔🙏

As hobby hybrid shooter, Parker Walbeck is just natural to follow. Learning a lot from this shannel.Using photography and filming as fysiotherapy to get back to life. Todays episode was a bit hard and beautiful at the same time to wach. Right now in rehab after a over a year long treatment for lymphoma cancer, and it's right now looking really good for me, and im the the reciever of all good thing people do for us with illness. And i can say...that sometimes it's easier to be the one with cancer, cause looking in to the eyes of those loveones who cares for you really hurts...i got my gf with me pretty much all the 75 nights i spent at the hospital over that year and at the same time she worked, tok care of our apartment, updated my ginormus family and was the center of all thing. I was busy buzzing the morphin-machine so i know that every one else made all the difference. That guy who told hes loveones that if they didnt feel him after hes gone, they have to try harder....i know exactly hiw he must felt when he sad that. Big thanks to Parker, hes wife and all other...people like you make all the differense. I just love good hearted people 🙂❤️

This is not just an act of kindness, It is an act of creation. So many different levels of transformation with such beautiful results. Thanks for sharing Parker. A reminder that here is always a bigger picture and that there really is no limit to how much good a person can bring to the world. ❤

Jackie, I feel the same way your son said. My daughter at the age of 6 years 49 days passed away in ‘85 from cancer as well. And I say she is “living forever” with our Heavenly Father and my grandfather, as I am here in hell.... Blessings to you and your family.
