Throughout the whole run of the show, that mansion has been the least secure 😂 Sheila has managed to get in and out that property many times with nobody being the wiser. Lol

Sheila remains a compelling character thanks to Kimberlin Brown's talent but all the storylines are terrible right now and this plot is beneath her.

This plot is definitely beneath Sheila. She should never be in the same scenes / storyline with Rick and Amber. She should be plotting to go up against Steph (benefit being less Rick and Amber and more Steph on my screen). But I like watching KB act

I agree! The Sheila storyline is very weak but Kimberlin is so good she makes her scenes work anyway. I find myself rooting for Sheila, and I know that is not supposed to happen, but she just eclipses everyone else in this storyline and is so entertaining that I don't care that what she's doing is eviI.

How do the employees at the Insomnia _not_ know what CJ could possibly have to be unhappy about? They apparently know what both his parents do for a living, but they somehow don't know about his dead sister who _owned the Insomnia?_ And yet they know that Bridget is the niece of a waitress who worked there several years ago (Katie).🙄

Well I wondered the same thing.. If he's so rich and famous, how do they not know about his sister and his wife? Maybe Spectra isn't front page news, but I'm sure they do make the news

Sheila's plan has some holes in it though. Erica wasn't in on it and Sheila didn't count on her seeing Lance with Amber, so how could Sheila be sure this would all get back to Rick? Lance and Amber were alone - what if Amber simply decided to lie and make up a story about where she was?

Also, Sheila had no guarantee that Amber would stumble into the bushes, and not just drop down in the middle of the party in front of everyone (she was stumbling by the pool already.. Surprised eagle eye Rick didn't see that). How would Lance be able to carry her away in that case

@Nick and @Trish, great observations about the weaknesses of Sheila's plan! It only goes to show that although Sheila is still intellingent, the writing no longer succeeds in projecting that intelligence by making Sheila's schemes truly brilliant, and instead has to rely on Sheila being lucky. This simplification of Sheila's character also shows in her final line in the last episode, "it's good to be bad", which again is something the real Sheila would be unlikely to say because Sheila doesn't _think_ that she is bad - the whole point about the character is that everything Sheila does makes sense _to Sheila,_ and we are invited as viewers to share in her point of view. By Sheila IabeIing herself as "bad", we the viewers are told _not_ to empathize with her, and yet Sheila is at her most effective when we _do._

@@annieo6527 totally agree about the "good to be bad" comment. Sheila has always seen herself as "not a bad person", and while she might do bad things, everything she does is bc she was minding her business and then someone forced her to do something not nice (in her mind). This is when I think they began to make Sheila a fiendish cartoon character, like Gargamel or something. Side note : where does Sheila always get these pills to poison ppl? Lol

The " criminal" thing here wich should be obvious to Rick and what he really needs to look at, despite " Amber getting drunk" , is the act of this man Lance, a guest, that carries away the " drunk" star of the show and the pool party, away from her husband and family, and away from her home. Hoping Rick will be able to see that too and not totally blame Amber 😳

I know I'm the only person on this thread still liking Sheila enough to watch her. The storyline is ridiculous bc why is Sheila wasting her time on these 2? My problem is more why are Amber and Rick made such central characters. I personally could care less about them and if they stay married or not. I would have much preferred Sheila to be back and plotting how to use Erica to somehow get back at Steph, who of course she blames for everything gone wrong in her life with Eric and James.

I personally don't care about them or their marriage. Now if Sheila was using her daughter to somehow get back at Steph... There's a plot I would be interested in watching.

@@TriniT21 I know, and thank goodness in the Rick and Amber's storyline there is Sheila, and there is going to be Taylor. Otherwise I would have skipped entire episodes.. And for the writer, I feel he knows Rick and Amber are not enough and use the, once , leading characters to support this boredom. Did really people like this couple in 2002? This millennium BB is so boring.
