I like how sharp Kite's instincts are and how quick Killua caught up with the situation and understood its gravity... I like how it shows how Hunters can be so useful and admired for their work, having great achievements and connections it just feels so interesting Ging has good friends, is liked by animals and has a fanclub good to remember ^^ (like to put together the info we get about him he's a fascinating character) Kite introduced Gon and Killua as his friends^^ I like to see Killua making more friends through his personal journey with Gon but getting invested in their business not only bc of Gon, being his own person more and more...he is experiencing many life styles so he can discover what he wants to do with his life I always liked biology and natural sciences in general so the whole biological survey, chimera ant, phagogenesis theme is so interesting to me The anguish is real I love the writing... watching Kite's team struggling to find a good lead when the worst thing they could imagine is already happening...chills! This arc is just too good I like to imagine that this could happen irl would be soooo scary!! Poor Kurt and Reina...poor mom...you know it won't end well but still get attached ...so cruel

This is by far my favorite arc of all time ! You'll see that everything related to this arc is perfectly approached and developed (the themes, the characters: antagonist and protagonist; the atmosphere, the evolution)... This arc has turned the traditional vision of shonen upside down ! Hope that you'll enjoy

To be fair, it may be slow by modern standards, but it is standard speed for long running shounen series like the popular shounen manga of old, which includes Hunter X Hunter. I will certainly take this pace 10 times over Namek kk 😆 Which in fact I may. I think this is the 5th time I'm rewatching the series through reactions.

@@lynuslao4719 i hate the pace of JJK , Kimetsu no Yaiba or MHA for example, I think it just to hyperpaced. The authors never let anything breath and develop properly the characters. To be honest I consider that a cardinal sin of writing. And thats why they would never be greatness and HxH is. On the other hand you have DBZ and Naruto where the animators added more frames artificially to fatten the episodes so the manga could keep up/prevent the anime from catching the manga or/and to milking dry the cow. Slow as fuck, HxH respects your time if your brain is not rotten by social networks and tiktok video format.
