Front facing can accomodate 3 pax at max, and side facing like bolero neo plus can accommodate 4 pax (one more) , that's the reason why they opt for the side facing option, as it opens up more uses in commercial segment, ambulance, and rural markets.

I really fail to understand why this last row in many cars like Bolero classic, Bolero Neo+, Scorpio, Sumo they put sideways Like in this Neo+ at least they could have put it front facing, even reducing total seating capacity to 8 would have been good for some customers

Side facing seats are cost effective and the boot space is less compromised (when the seats are folded. But as an option front facing seats should be given as they are more comfortable, preferred option.
