Galveston is an island, city and county which confuses the TV storm chasers. Point Bolivar is in Galveston county. We vacation on the west end of sea wall blvd on the island.

Galveston. I recommend Blue Water RV resort. Blows this place out of the water. Ha. Don't go by the Google pics. It's fairly new. Just opened in June of 2019. Stayed there for a weekend and it's very nice. It's an airport runway turned RV park. Who'da thought.

Oh wow. That sounds cool. I wish Google would catch up on their pics. When you look at pics in the south you can see turned over RVs from hurricanes. Thanks for the info.

We've seen aerials of campgrounds after hurricanes/ tornadoes and hope we never have to experience it. At least we can drive away in Leroy and camp in him if needed.

There is an old WW1 bunker system near where you guys are located if my memory is correct. I really love going to historic parks like that. Love the video.

Love your tours of the campgrounds and sites. It shows us wannabe full timers what it's actually like to stay there, even the part where you wisely take shelter in LeRoy at 1 am.

Nothing wrong with boondocking. Do you boondock fulltime and travel the US? We do Quartzsite for a month in the winter.
