I won't say they copied the tune instead i'll say they paid tribute to Rabindra Sangeet by Putting it in Public domain through Bollywood. Because I (as a non bengali ) also started listening Rabindra Sangeet when I knew that Raahi Matwale ,Soona Man ka aangan and Naina deewane ek nahi maane kind of Songs are based on Rabindra sangeet tunes. I liked the soulfulness of compositions but I wish I cud understand the Meaning. Thank you for this video , very Informative! 😊

Not tribute... Because if it's tribute then they should aware people of it being from rabindranath.. But they don't do. They just use these and don't even mentions about rabindranath's name.. So it's not a tribute but copy

Not only Ravindra Sangeet but there are many more, like at this moment I remember Janeman Janeman tere do nayan is same as Prajapati Prajapati by Sabita Chowdhury.Also some from south indian movies like Saiya baiya chodana of Madhuri Dixit or even Mera juta hai Japani is original Russian song.
