About 2 years ago I watched my first Bollywood movie since it was a suggestion on my 'what to watch next' feed. I like musicals and I like the beautiful colors of India so I decided to watch it. It was so good. It shocked me. I did not watch the next one until 2 weeks ago, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge at the suggestion of an associate. OMG! I have watched it 4 times already! I like how their movies can orchestrate all concepts in a movie: love, comedy, drama and action. The topic of time, I remember years ago I was talking with friends how I feel cheated with US movies because you pay so much to go see it and it is maybe 90 minutes! I remember (telling my age) when movies were longer more like 2 hours. If the movie is good it will not make a difference. Oh and I remember when we used to have intermissions and cartoons before the movie started. Oh those were the days. I will definitely be watching more Bollywood movies. YAY!

If I want to watch action movies, I watch Hollywood, but if I want to see romance or comedy, I watch Bollywood (because the crude body humor so prevalent in current Hollywood romantic comedies is a turn off for me).
