They're not happily married, they're overacting which is clearly visible no need to be that dumb. He definitely married her because he knows he's old and afraid he'll end up being alone, first. Second is Alia bhatt was good, she was confident and never settled for less, it was never like she became unable to express her emotions, but now she is.
