I've been using Slate Digital FG-X as a mastering limiter for years. This Master Plan plugin has many of the same features as FG-X. However, I still wonder if it sounds "better" overall than FG-X?

Don't DSPs range from 14-16 LUFS? I think Spotify is 14 and Apple Music 16. I usually set my LUFS to 15 to hit the average between the two so they don't adjust the loudness too much on their end. If this is wrong, I would def welcome feedback.

Don’t EVER master for -14 LUFS. Your stuff will be quieter than almost everything on the DSP.

I master at -14 LUFS (however) if you do not have good outboard equipment to bring everything out in the mix properly -14LUFS sounds very low.

@@mevtherenegade A lot of people say don't master far off DSPs' LUFS because their algo will distort your music. I don't think my stuff sounds low on Spotity/Apple.
