Hi Olly and Martin the concrete pump doesn't go hard overnight because the pump foam balls through it when it's finished pumping the concrete..the balls come out at some force..😊😊😊😊50%

I think that’s called a desmodromic valve system, fixed the problem of valve float where the spring won’t close the valve quick enough before the cams next cycle
@johnwilliams76532 ай бұрын
The gain in extra power at the higher revs allowed by closing the valves positively rather than relying on springs outweighs any extra friction of the system. It works beautifully when set up well: typically Italian.

Desmodromic valves stop valve float , so guaranteed closure at high revs rather than relying on a spring. Twins cylinders have the best sound especially with special exhausts on them. Think of a two cylinder xerion ! Yellow and black were also available alongside classic red colour back on the day , now more choice.

Of coarse you don't need to be a farmer to go to London to support us or if you're a Londoner who would like to meet some farmers go down and see what it's all about. It would be nice to meet some of our customers and find out a little more about each other. We're probably not the best at talking to our customers because of the way the modern food chain works so it would be good if spend some time face to face and learn a little more about each other. Oh, and well done to the chuckle brothers Martin and Olly!!! 😆👍

Great video Olly, were you looking for Valtra's as you flew over the Alps? Fantastic to hear that the Met are on board, can't wait to hear further details from you and Martin> I have a feeling that given the right coverage on mainstream and social media it will send a powerful message to the Government while keeping the public on the side of the farmers. 👍.
@roberthiggins64012 ай бұрын
Don't count on the msm. So many times they down play numbers at a rally, protest. Met will direct you most likely. You'll have to do and go as they say. You have to realise that the whole system is corrupt and the only way is to look and see. There's so much information out there and it's all linked in one way or another.

0:04 Answer to your quiz question, They go hard after 45mins or as little as 20 minutes on a hot summer day, when a company involves a crane pump or normal pump, we normally setup the pump first and then let 3x lorries build up behind them so we know we can continuously pump fresh concrete, if for whatever reason a lorry is late or we have to stop the machine pumping, then the pump driver normally calls X time and they have to completely stop and wash out and you can't just restart because you then have to re-lube up the pipes and machine again and you need to make sure that the pipes are also clear of X chemical they just washed out with 💙

Hi Olly, the valve system seems to be superior, they've won the most in racing. It is to do with the speed and control over the valves, hold a bigger bang, more power. If you get bored watch motogps from 2007 the first 800s they had so much more power it was funny, couldn't go round corners though.

The desmodronic valve arrangement allows the engine to rev cleaner at high revs as it will eliminate valve bounce due to the valve being closed by the cam, a verry good efficient system. If you are looking for a race prepped 848evo I have one !
@combatclifton2 ай бұрын
The Ducati Desmo valve system is a really good idea but maintaining and servicing them is a right pain the valve train has no resistance so you can turn it over by hand. Try doing that with a spring camshaft. The main reason for the Desmo system is to eliminate valve float at high RPM. For me to Desmo my bike it cost me nearly 1500 and had to wait months for engine components to come from that factory. I love how they ride but I ride daily so they are the best suited. They like the warm weather of Italy not the UK

Desmo valves were a game changer for twin engines allows much higher revs and less power losses. The downside is higher service costs and lower service intervals

High revving engines with spring valves can suffer from ' valve bounce ' so I suppose this is one way to get over that problem. Clever, but so much more to wear, go wrong and require main dealer attention.
@DarrenCollett2 ай бұрын
It’s not about efficiency. At high RPM you can get valve bounce because it’s hard to control the spring. The desmodronic valve system mechanically opens and mechanically closes the valve and restrains more control over it and avoids valve bounce.

Hello Olly, how much inheritance tax did Charles pay to the treasury upon the death of his mother as he inherited the entire crown corporation? It's estimated that the royal family are worth 28 BILLION pounds. I cannot do the mathematics very well but if this was a normal UK citizen with an estate of this size and when they died, they would pay 40% tax of their entire worldwide estate over and above the 375k GBP level. Works out to be about 11.2 Billion in inheritance tax that should be payable by the Family. A further question is how much capital gains did William pay for getting given the Duchy of Cornwall estimated at 1 billion pounds producing tens of millions of revenue each and every year? Double standards.
