Having started with the 8th Army kit last week, I still found your video helpful - thank you! I like how this kit has much more "gubbins" to add to models, so on top of the Commonwealth Infantry box I wanted to get (for the head options) now I also want THIS one. Damn you! XD

Makes it easier to paint the torso, though. I think I'll blu-tac the right arm on for a dryfit and then glue the rifle on to the right hand, but then remove it for painting.

Hey guys! How do you assemble the LMG loader? or should i just represent them with normal guy with the rifle?

That's pretty much what I do. Although I give him the bren bag as part of his equipment to show that he's the loader. It's the long bag with the pockets that tapers off towards one end.

8 years old, i had to look this up because the building kit is very impractical. Worse building set i've got my hands on lmao. And i love modular sets.

I bought a box of British 8th Army from WG recently. Out of 30 figures, there are just 5 entrenching tool pieces. When I contacted WG, they said well, we've give you other options. Who wants to put some of their extra machine gun ammo packs on a soldier carrying an Enfield? I should've bought these figures instead.

Well in reality the whole infantry section would carry bren gun ammo, every single man in the section would have some. Equally with the kit in tye video the respirator bag (third one he glued) was hardly ever worn by soldiers as it could be cumbersome and towards the end of the war (anything past 41) the fear of gas attacks virtually went away so although they still got them issued, the soldiers kept them with there massive kit bags that they kept in base or camp.

I personally like having the arms separate from the guns it makes more variety.
