This is the standard that other battle reports should be! A good intro, map, arrows(!) and sound effects and final conclusion and explanation of rules. He was unlucky with the AT grenades but I agree you had the better battleplan. Howwver, was he imn AMBUSH for when you come over the ridge? I would have thought that would have given him the advantage when your units crested the ridge line in small groups. I do think the machine gun fire doesn't need to be repeated for the same unit, but this is the standard I would want to meet if I ever do one. I would like some details of the army on WHY you choose what you did and then an afterward on did the units do what you wanted them to do, but that is a small quibble and would a lot of extra time to the video. 10 minutes is a good length for a report.

@@comstr thank you so very much for this and I'll consider adding thoughts on units. I think Alfred was unlucky at times. Had his mortars ranged in on my regulars on the crest, I'd have been forced to either withdraw or push harder. His mortars were on ambush, and weren't able to range in.

@@VorpalDerringer thank you so much, glad you enjoyed the AAR. For the ridge line, we simply placed objects under the gaming mat to change the elevation of the surface.

AT grenades are the bane of light vehicles. 750pts is a nice size game though.
