Are you using the surge brake or something different? My ford has a trailer brake controller and I’m wondering if it’s worth changing the surge out for an electric over hydraulic unit

We're using the factory surge brakes. We've never changed them over to electric before.

Trying to figure out the 3 day rule for barnacles and how that works when getting far from home. You’ll probably see me in the comments a good bit as this will be my first jet boat I’ve owned.
