Barnsley have consistently played like a different team 2nd half all season. Management, who I don't think have done everything right, have at least figured out how to make the little tactical switches and substitutions to change games, and they have the boy Nwakali, who is one of the very best players in this division and changes games whenever he comes on, but he tends to come off the bench rather than start games. Nwakali is the one who played the free kick down the flank for the winner, I believe. Barnsley also win all their games away. They're awful at home. The form book is reversed with them; It's been this way for the last 12 months, at least. I understand why opposing fans would wonder what happened, but to Barnsley it's just another game this season, following the established pattern.

Was before the first goal wasn't it? Also still no idea why the goal was ruled out.. 5 defenders all holding, one Barnsley player touches a Bolton player away from the ball and disallowed goal 🤷🏼‍♂️. Similar to when Bolton where given a goal in the play off game last season and was given, the exact same later in the game and was disallowed.
