That's what you get when you continue to vote a Labour council in to run things for 30 years running. Thirty bloody years and look where we are - the blame lies solely with them and the daft beggars who vote for them under the unbelievable misconception that they might one day get it right! There is a saying that you get what you ask for and Bolton has asked for Labour councils.....and its a tragedy.

Ask Bolton Labour council and the daft people who keep voting them in who continue to decimate our once lovely town. Labour have been in charge for the best part of 30yrs and surprise surprise look how we have sunk in the last 30yrs whilst the likes of Bury have grown. It's a scandal.

I live abroad now. But came back with my family to stay at my mums for xmas. We went for a walk through the town centre to get some christmas spirit and some lunch. I got the shock of my life. Very sad. I was thinking its maybe becaue of amazon online shopping. But ive read in comments on here that bury and other towns are looking a site better than bolton. Very very sad😞

Me too... I lived in Eccles at first until I was nearly 3 and we moved to Bolton. I have been here for over 10 years.. so my whole life pretty much.. 😆😆

The majority of this video covered Victoria Square and that is one of the downsides. However, overall this was most informative on what changes have been made to our ever-growing town. Muslims can live where they want in England as this is a free country, racism it's absolutely disgusting as my mum is white and my dad is Indian. I am half and I respect everyone. Clearly this goes to show that some people haven't been brought up properly. I have nothing against any of you and I respect your opinions as you feel Muslims have "invaded" Bolton but it's a little bit inappropriate from some of the language you are using to describe us Muslims so we are obviously going to get offended.

We have to pander to ethnic minorities sadly.If we make a valid observation that we don't like people wandering down our streets in unusual garments,many of whom have no interest in integrating into local society,no interest in British history,culture,heritage and customs,and moreover people who want to implement their own laws,we are branded racist,which is ridiculous.Bolton has too many muslims already,and I don't think the town needs any more.Like it or not,they are different and out of place I think.

+Zara Amber Hi,No offence intended,as I'm not a racist in case you thought I might be.My comments are made in the sense that many,though not all Muslims,seem to want to keep themselves to themselves and not integrate fully into the community when perhaps they should try to understand the heritage,culture and traditions of the place where they live.Historically,any groups who stand out have been a target for misguided people to aim at,and for the record I abhor such behaviour.
